Ian Holloway’s Swindon are not in the best of form at the moment, so this is an inopportune time for a visit from MK Dons, the side who have amassed the most points in the league since New Year's Day. Swindon are just 10th in the table, compared to 5th in the current league table, which points to a drop off in 2026.
Their games are seemingly very open at present, with both teams scoring in each of their last five League Two outings, where the Robins have picked up an average of a point per game. Holloway has been pretty outspoken in his criticism of various footballing authorities during that period, and one wonders whether that has caused his players to lose focus on the matter at hand.
MK Dons are now up to 2nd after failing to gel in the first half of the season, as many expected they would. A few more quality January additions seem to have done the trick, given they are unbeaten since the 1st January. This bet has landed in four of their last five away matches.
