Both teams are in the play-offs, but with the Bills chasing down the Patriots to win the divisional title and finding some real form, I expect them to get the job done at Highmark Stadium. They’ve won four in a row and are starting to look very, very dangerous.

It’s been a wild season, but for my money the Bills are the most threatening team in the AFC right now, and I fancy them to make the Super Bowl. They’re really relying on the ground game at the most and finding ways to win games, the sign of champions. The Eagles and their offensive play are not good enough to get the win here.

The Eagles don’t seem to be able to stop the run, giving up 123.5 rushing yards per game. Those aren’t dreadful numbers, but it gives the Bills ground game hope, and the team have really leaned on that in recent weeks, something they’ve been rewarded for with wins in the bank.

James Cook is putting up some serious numbers this season and leads the NFL in rushing yards, with an average of 102.1 yards per game. He’s broken the 100-yard mark in four of the past five weeks and will be licking his lips at this matchup.

We’re doubling down on James Cook and backing the Bills’ running back to score. He’s scored 14 times this season and has five alone in the past fortnight. The Eagles are giving up an average of a touchdown per game to opposing running backs, and Cook can capitalise.

Interestingly, the Bills are 11-4 on the season, but they’re 8-1 in games in which Cook has scored. That really shows us the importance he plays with the team, generally getting wins when he’s onsong. The team have obviously clocked that too and they’re really leaning on the ground game now.

I’m expecting the Eagles to be playing from behind, which should mean Jalen Hurts airing it out and trying to get his wide receivers the ball. I really think that could mean a profitable night for DeVonta Smith.

He’s had eight or more targets in four of his past five games and is somebody Hurts is always looking for downfield. He’s capable of big plays too, which gives me hope of breaking his alternate receiving yard line of 25+. That’s a number he’s covered in five straight games and 14 of 16 across the year.
