Mateta is a man in form. His goal against Liverpool in the Community Shield added to the three goals he scored for Palace during pre-season as he looks for his third consecutive double digit haul in the English top flight.
Mateta had three shots in Crystal Palace’s triumph against Arne Slot’s champions in the Community Shield and can carry that shot volume into Palace’s opening game of the season against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
