Placing in the top three in 100% of her races, KINGSTON QUEEN has built on her strong form in bumpers and is already setting the foundations of becoming an impressive hurdler.

Winning two of her three appearances over hurdles, and considering her only defeat has come at the hands of Old Park Star, who has just won the Supreme on Tuesday, there is no disgrace in having that loss on your CV.

Following on from her defeat, Kingston Queen returned in Grade 2 company last month, where she ran on well to beat today’s rival White Noise, and although Bambino Fever looks to have this race tied up, Kingston Queen presents strong each-way value at her price to progress further.

Finishing inside the top three in 85% of his races, JORDAN’S CROSS is an exciting prospect for Anthony Honeyball, and given he has won all three of his completed chase appearances, there is plenty more scope for improvement.

Looking a likely winner on his first start at Cheltenham in November, he fell at the last fence when going well but bounced back to land back-to-back wins at Doncaster and redeemed himself over course and distance.

Looking in great shape heading into today’s contest, and although he is handed a 6lb rise on his return, he has been improving with every start, and given he has proved he can stay well, he will be looking for a strong pace to aim at today.

A tough race to go and win with Wodhooh at the head of affairs. However, FEET OF A DANCER chased her home at Leopardstown and was only beaten by 2 ¼ lengths in the end.

Producing some impressive performances in graded company, she finished a close third in a Grade 2 before meeting Wodhooh at Leopardstown in December. Kicking on from her second place, Feet Of A Dancer put on an impressive display when running a career best in a Grade 2 at Doncaster last time out and considering she finished full of running, further improvement is on the cards.

Although only 2 places are available in today’s contest, she has shown enough previously that she can get close to Wodhooh and she can’t be forgotten about at her price.

Placing in the top three in 92% of his races, BALLYBURN has reverted to hurdles after disappointing over the larger obstacles, and there have been signs in his two most recent starts over hurdles that he can return to his 2024 form.

Returning to hurdles in November in the Hatton’s Grace Hurdle Grade 1, this was a great test for Ballyburn, who was flying at the end of the race but just narrowly failed to reel in today’s favourite Teahupoo, to lose by a nose.

Finishing third behind Teahupoo again in the Christmas Hurdle, his jumping let him down over Christmas, but returning fresh after a three-month break, he will be looking to return with a performance similar to the Hatton’s Grace Hurdle.

Although the worry with JONBON is that he has been beaten in four of his six visits to Cheltenham. However, it is impossible to ignore his perfect place record, and he can’t be overlooked.

Finishing inside the top two in all 27 career starts, Jonbon’s off day is settling for second place, and although the majority of his second-place finishes have come here, it almost feels like a free bet for Jonbon to win today.

Producing strong performances at Ascot this year, winning both the Clarence House and the Ascot Chase to land his 12th Grade 1, he’s a top-class chaser, and it’s rare to be able to back him at a price this big.

Finishing inside the top three in 87% of his races, ABSOLUTELY DOYEN hasn’t put a foot wrong since joining Paul Nicholls, and given his current mood, who knows where his ceiling will be.

Currently unbeaten from five starts under Paul Nicholls, nothing has been able to get close to the six-year-old recently, and considering he won going away at Musselburgh by 3 ¾ lengths last time out, further improvement is extremely likely.

Looking a large price considering the reign of form he is in, he is returning to handicap company today, and although he is racing off a 12lb higher mark, he has been winning impressively, and it may not be enough to stop him in his current mood.

Placing in the top three in 80% of his races, GERICAULT ROQUE is a serial placer, and although he hasn’t recorded a win yet over fences, he is knocking on the door.

Finishing second in five of his 10 chase starts, Gericault Roque has been extremely unfortunate not to get off the mark over fences, but given he is racing off a workable mark of 129, he looks a solid each-way bet at a big price.

A dual winner over hurdles in the past, and considering he finished second in the Ultima back in 2022, he does have some form here at Cheltenham. Finishing a respectable second at Ascot last time out when wearing cheekpieces for the first time, the headgear is retained for the Kim Muir, and he holds solid each-way claims at a big price.
