Dubois vs Wardley 2 Betting Tips & Prediction: Triple D to Stop Wardley Again

Nelson Birchall looks to be getting better with each outing and has knocked out his last eight opponents, but moved up to super-featherweight earlier this year.

In his second outing at 130lbs, Birchall takes on Levi Giles, who has gone the distance in his three career losses against Michael Gomez Jnr, Reece Bellotti and Giorgio Visioli.

The tough Giles will be hard to dispatch for someone that is new to the division and backing the highly-rated Birchall to win on the cards looks to be a safer pick than selecting him to be the first to knock Giles out.

Louie O’Doherty has impressed in fights against Regan Glackin and Ahmed Hatim when winning and defending the British lightweight title, ending two undefeated records in his two Lonsdale title bouts to date. 

Yet, in my opinion, Michael Gomez Jnr represents his toughest fight to date by a decent margin.

The Mancunian has scored knockout wins over both Jordan Flynn and Lee McGregor since moving up to 135lbs and the additional weight allowance has seen he - and his punch power - come on leaps and bounds. 

This could well be the fight of the night but I believe, despite boasting just eight stoppages in 23 career wins to date, that Gomez’s power is something that O’Doherty has not yet proved he can overcome.

Therefore, I am opting for the underdog here and siding with Gomez Jnr to come out on top, as well as backing a single on a Gomez stoppage at 5.50.

A two-time Olympic gold medallist, you’d have been called a madman if you had predicted that Jalolov would be fighting Solomon Dacres this time last year, but recent underwhelming displays have convinced many fight fans that Jalolov will not replicate his amateur success in the pro game.

Still, ‘The Big Uzbek’ needs a statement performance and he needs it now.

It’s make or break for the 32-year-old southpaw and I believe there is value in backing him to deliver and score a 16th career stoppage in his 18th pro bout, purely based off of his credentials in the unpaid ranks.

With 10 rounds to catch Dacres, I fancy Jalolov’s pedigree to shine through and for him to show that he is levels above the Briton.

Additionally, a longshot single on the Round 1-2 stoppage (@ 13.00) is also worth a punt, in case Jalolov proves to be the heavyweight that he was once expected to be.
