Level 1 Bet Builder Tip
🛑 Declan Gallagher to Commit 1+ Fouls
📈 Odds: 1.91
Declan Gallagher looks a great value option to commit at least 1 foul against Celtic on Sunday. The experienced defender has been no stranger to a mistimed tackle throughout his career.
He gave away a free-kick during Dundee United’s 4-3 defeat at Motherwell last Saturday and he was also guilty of an offence the weekend prior to that against Kilmarnock. The 33-year-old defender was also reprimanded during United’s games with both Hibernian and Ross County last month.
Gallagher may have no choice but to up his aggression when he comes up against free-scoring Celtic this weekend. He could be keeping close tabs on Hoops hitman Kyogo Furuhashi, who has drawn a combined total of 4 fouls across his last 5 Scottish Premiership outings.
🛑 Vecko Sevelj to Commit 2+ Fouls
📈 Odds: 1.57
Vicko Sevelj is likely to be one of the main protagonists in the midfield battle at Tannadice on Sunday. The Dundee United midfielder has been a frequent offender in the Scottish Premiership this season. In fact, the Croatian’s combative streak has coincided with him averaging 2 fouls per-game in the Scottish top-flight this term.
He was guilty of 4 misdemeanours against Motherwell at Fir Park last Saturday and tackled his way into the referee’s notebook as result. As such, Sevelj has now committed 2 or more fouls in a noteworthy 9 of his 15 Scottish Premiership outings this season.
Expect to see that trend continue against a Celtic team laced with quality in the final-third. Sevelj could be up against Celtic ace Reo Hatate, who was fouled twice during the Bhoys’ last league game away from home against Aberdeen.
🛑 Sam Dalby to Commit 1+ Fouls
📈 Odds: 1.33
Sam Dalby is currently the Scottish Premiership’s leading goalscorer but he also isn’t afraid to throw his weight around. The towering frontman relishes a physical battle and that often leads to him getting on the wrong side of the referee.
The Wrexham loanee is giving away an average of 1.15 fouls per-game in the Scottish Premiership this season. Dalby has been penalised in 9 of his 13 top-flight outings this term, including 5 of his last 6.
In direct opposition to Dalby is likely to be Cameron Carter-Vickers. The Celtic centre-half has been fouled 7 times across his 10 Scottish Premiership appearances this season so far.
🚩 Over 5.5 Celtic Corners
📈 Odds: 1.30
Given the intensity that Celtic attack with, they look well placed to earn 6 or more corners at Tannadice on Sunday afternoon. Brendan Rodgers’ side are averaging a whopping 9.87 corners per-game in the Scottish Premiership this season.
They racked up no fewer than 14 flag-kicks in their most recent league game against Hibernian a fortnight ago, not to mention they hit 10 in their last away day at Aberdeen. Overall, Celtic have covered the 6+ corner line in 12 of their opening 15 Scottish Premiership games of the season.
Hosts Dundee United are giving up an average of 5.69 corners per 90 in the Scottish Premiership this season. The Terrors conceded 9 flag-kicks when they took on Rangers less than one month ago.

Level 2 Bet Builder Tip
⚽🤝 Nicolas Kuhn to Score or Assist
📈 Odds: 1.62
Look to Nicolas Kuhn to either score or to provide an assist against Dundee United on Sunday. The Celtic forward has been in fine form all season. His Scottish League Cup final strike against Rangers at Hampden last Sunday took his tally for the season to 12. Kuhn’s form is made all the more impressive by the fact that he has also registered 11 assists across all competitions this season.
The flying winger will be rubbing his hands at the prospect of facing a Dundee United defence that have failed to keep a clean sheet in 7 of their last 9 Scottish Premiership games, shipping 4 goals at Motherwell last time out.
🛑 Kevin Holt to Commit 1+ Fouls
📈 Odds: 2.0
Against Dundee United this weekend, the aforementioned Kuhn is likely to be positioned in direct opposition to Dundee United’s Kevin Holt. The Terrors utility man was booked 5 times across his 31 Scottish Championship appearances last season.
While the 31-year-old defender has rarely found himself on the referee’s radar this term, this will undoubtedly represent his and Dundee United’s toughest test of the season so far. As such, Holt holds plenty of appeal to commit at least 1 foul during this contest.
As already mentioned, the 31-year-old defender could be tasked with shackling Celtic ace Kuhn. The Hoops talisman has been fouled in 3 of the last 4 Scottish Premiership away games that he has started for Celtic.
Furthermore, Kuhn earned his side a free-kick in each of their 2 league games at home to both Rangers and Aberdeen earlier this season. It’s also worth noting that the German was fouled during Celtic’s 0-0 draw away at Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League last midweek.
🟨 Dundee United to Receive the Most Cards
📈 Odds: 1.53
Given that Celtic have the best disciplinary record in the Scottish Premiership this season, it makes sense to side with Dudnee United to receive the most cards during this clash. Brendan Rodgers’ side are receiving an average of just 1.27 cards per 90 in the Scottish Premiership this season, while they are drawing 2.47 cards per-game from their foes.
That can be attributed to the fact that Celtic have been shown fewer cards than that of their opponent in 12 of their 15 top-flight tussles this term to date.
In contrast, Dundee United are averaging 2.56 cards per 90 this term. They have received the most bookings in each of their last 2 league games with both Kilmarnock and Motherwell. Furthermore, Jim Goodwin’s side were shown 3 cards to Rangers’ 1 when they visited Ibrox at the tail end of last month.
🟨 Vicko Sevelj to be Shown a Card
📈 Odds: 2.50
Vicko Sevelj is the one to keep an eye on from a cards perspective on Sunday afternoon. The Dundee United midfielder has had his name taken by the referee in 3 of his last 10 Scottish Premiership appearances. The most recent of those cards came the Croatian’s way during last week’s 4-3 defeat at Motherwell.
The fact Sevelj is averaging 2 fouls per-game in the Scottish Premiership this season only adds to the appeal of backing him to go into the book again here, especially given the calibre of opposition he will be coming up against.
Sevelj is expected to square up against Celtic’s classy playmaker Reo Hatae, who was fouled twice away at Aberdeen earlier this month before finding himself on the receiving end of 3 misdemeanours away at Dinamo Zagreb last midweek.
