Tuesday's Trixie starts off at Carlisle with the 15:50, followed by the 17:12 at Pontefract, and then moving on to Southwell and rounding off at 16:30.

Our Trixie bet is made up of three separate bets across these three races, those being a treble and three doubles. The great thing about a Trixie is that even if one of the selections does not win, we will still see a return if two of the three runners win their respective races.

Imperial Jade to Win

Our first selection for Tuesday’s Trixie comes in the 15:50 at Carlisle, where we have IMPERIAL JADE, who is seeking a hat-trick here today. 

A six-year-old mare who has returned in 2025 producing career-best performances and a 4lb rise doesn’t look enough to stop her from landing the hat-trick. Winning impressively at Doncaster in February by 13  lengths, before backing up this performance at Huntingdon last month, she made all in both affairs, and given today’s small six-runner affair, she is likely to get her own way out in front. 

Well supported in the market last time out and racing well on good ground, a follow-up performance is expected from her today. Imperial Jade is the only runner in today’s affair to record a win over today’s  2m3f trip, and considering her rivals are struggling to produce results of late, this race is there for the taking.

Pontefract

Partisan Hero to Win

Our second selection for Tuesday’s Trixie comes in the 17:12 at Pontefract, where we have PARTISAN  HERO, who produced a career-best last time out and is making his return to turf today. 

A five-year-old gelding who has been producing consistent performances on all weather lately, but making his return to good ground for the first time since May last year, he holds solid claims back on the turf. Making the switch to David Loughnane’s yard in January 2024, he finished a close second on his stable debut at Windsor and has raced solidly on all weather since, recording results of 2, 3, 3, 1 with improvement looking likely on his return to turf. 

A previous winner in Ireland for previous connections on good ground and clearly thriving in his new yard after his latest win, his mark looks workable, and his return to a quicker surface today will suit his front-running tactics.

Southwell

Mc Moan to Win

Our final selection for Tuesday’s Trixie comes in the 18:30 at Southwell, where we have MC Moan, who made a promising debut performance last time out.

This will only be MC Moan’s second race following a debut 6/8 at Wolverhampton last month. He didn’t get much luck on that occasion, being forced to race wide and losing momentum when hampered early on in the straight.

He should have come on a lot from that run and he gets a workable draw here too. Mc Moan holds plenty of appeal for an in-form Richard Hughes yard, he’s received plenty of market support already and Finly Marsh will take the ride once again.
