My research suggests that this is going to be a game in which the Cypriot team will defend deep in a low block, and probably end up with 30-35% possession, unless Juventus score early.

This type of match hasn't really been something easily compared to Juve's previous Champions League matches this season, but in Italian matches where Juventus have seen 60% or more possession, their corner count has been: 8, 6, 5, 14, 3, and 6.

Again, a little bit of this angle is based around game state, with the idea that Pafos are going to set out to be physical with Juventus and keep things tight with resolute defending.

Whilst this will mean remaining in shape a lot, which doesn't always produce many challenges and yellow cards, they will also not want to lose many individual duels, and this does often produce yellow cards.

The official for this match is Spaniard Jesus Gil Manzano. He has averaged four yellows cards in the Champions League this season, and 3.86 yellows across his 28 Champions League appearances, which is certainly not detrimental to this bet.

The experienced Italy and Juve midfielder continues to be underrated in the shots market. We backed him for one shot in the league against Napoli on Sunday, and he duly delivered. There are reasons to believe that he could and should get two shots here.

I have already mentioned how I see the match playing out, with possession and territory in their favour. This should give Locatelli freedom to attack the box with more regularity.

He is now averaging 1.42 shots per 90 this season, 1.5 per 90 in the Champions League. His average over the last 10 games is now over 1.7 shots per 90, much higher than players priced shorter than him, such as Teun Koopmeiners (0.57 per 90).

Locatelli has hit two or more shots in six of his last nine starts as well, so there is good recent form behind this selection.

The former Chelsea and Arsenal Brazil international has rocked up at Pafos for this Champions League run, and I think that there are strong tactical and circumstantial reasons to think that this price for Luiz to get a shot away is good value.

He only averages 0.7 shots per 90 for Pafos when including league play, but this doubles to 1.4 per 90 when only concentrating on Champions League matches.

This is mainly down to the match at Kairat Almaty. Pafos only managed nine shots in the match, and I think that total could be similar here, but Luiz took four of those nine shots, and three of them were on target.

The way that Pafos are likely to try and get something out of the game here is via set pieces when they get the chance, and that is where David Luiz is likely to come to the fore.

It also seems likely that the big player that he is, he wants to try his luck at some point in this match.
