Level 1 Bet Builder Tip

🎯 Diogo Jota to have 1+ Shots on Target 🔄

📈 Odds: 1.33

Jota has been in and out of the side this season with Arne Slot not really enamoured with any of the options he has at his disposal to lead the line. He did get himself back in amongst the goals with the winner in the Merseyside Derby a few weeks ago.

Jota has had 13 shots on target across his 21 Premier League appearances this season, 13 of these have been starts taking his average to 1.12 shots on target per 90. He’s scored six goals in the Premier League this season from this record which is a pretty decent record considering that he hasn’t been able to have a clear run in the side.

Jota didn’t start the initial meeting between the sides but Liverpool had 19 shots on goal with seven of these attempts finding the target. The Reds’ scoring power has been a massive bonus in their hunt for the Premier League title and we should see a case study of that here.

🛑 Wilfred Ndidi to Commit 1+ Fouls 🔄

📈 Odds: 1.33

Ndidi has committed 34 fouls across his 23 Premier League appearances this season (1.61 per 90). He’s been partnering Soumare in the middle of the park since Ruud Van Nistelrooy took over from Steve Cooper but the pair have found it tough, often left exposed by Leicester’s overeager nature.

Ndidi has committed a foul in four of his last five Premier League games and has made a tackle in all five of these matches suggesting that he’ll be regularly challenged here, especially when Liverpool look to break quickly where they can be devastating. Ndidi didn’t feature in the initial meeting between the sides but both Winks and Soumare who were deployed as the double pivot at Anfield committed a foul.

Ndidi is likely to line up against Dominik Szoboszlai. The Hungarian is averaging 0.89 fouls won per 90 in the Premier League this season and can cause Ndidi problems with his relentless running which makes him a difficult man to stop without bringing him down when driving through central areas.

🛑 Liverpool to Commit 11+ Fouls

📈 Odds: 1.57

Liverpool are quite an aggressive side off the ball. It’s a factor of Jurgen Klopp’s heavy metal approach that Arne Slot has kept alive but just tweaked slightly to fit in with his philosophy. Liverpool are averaging 11.5 fouls committed per game in the Premier League this season, ranking in the top half for this particular metric.

Liverpool committed 17 fouls in the initial meeting between the sides which is a total that showcases how Liverpool’s foul count can be high despite dominating the game. They had 68% possession in that fixture which indicates that their fouls were likely being committed in Leicester’s half, to stop them breaking quickly when Liverpool lost the ball.

🏆 Liverpool (-1 Handicap)

📈 Odds: 1.62

Leicester have lost nine of their last 10 games across all competitions. This selection has landed in seven of those losses with the exceptions coming against Manchester United and Chelsea - neither of which have the scoring power of Liverpool.

This selection landed in the initial meeting between the sides at Anfield as Liverpool ran out 3-1 winners. The Foxes have been too naive under Ruud Van Nistelrooy, often thinking they can go toe to toe with the opposition only to be met by a barrage of attacking quality which they simply cannot match.

Liverpool boast the best away record in the Premier League this season, winning 10 of their 16 games on the road and scoring 40 goals in the process - both table topping metrics which should assist Liverpool in breezing past a Leicester City side who look down and out in the fight for Premier League survival.

Level 2 Bet Builder Tip

Mohamed Salah to Score Anytime 🔄

📈 Odds: 1.73

Salah has enjoyed one of the best individual seasons in recent memory, scoring 27 goals across his 32 Premier League appearances this season. He scored against Leicester in the initial meeting between the sides at Anfield and has scored six goals against the promoted sides this season.

Salah has tailed off a little in the second half of the season as have Liverpool as a whole, especially since their Champions League exit at the hands of PSG. However, even with this dip in performance, Liverpool have never once looked like giving up their lead at the top of the table and look set to cruise to the Premier League title for only the second time in the club's history.

Salah is on penalties for Liverpool and can add to his excellent record against the promoted sides this season here. Leicester are without a clean sheet in their last 10 games across all competitions and will struggle to contend with Liverpool’s scoring power here.

🟨 Boubakary Soumare to be Shown a Card 🔄

📈 Odds: 3.40

Soumare has picked up eight yellow cards across his 25 Premier League appearances this season - no Leicester player has received more cautions than Soumare in the Premier League this season.

He committed a foul in the initial meeting between the sides in which Leicester really struggled to get a foothold in the game. It should be a similar scenario here with Soumare averaging 0.99 fouls committed per 90 in the Premier League this season, a pretty modest total for a player that plays in the middle of the park and has received so many yellow cards this season.

Soumare is well overdue a booking, he’s managed to avoid a caution in Leicester’s dismal run of form of late but Liverpool could be the perfect side to see Soumare return to the referees notebook. He’ll be up against Dominik Szoboszlai who is averaging 0.89 fouls committed per 90 in the Premier League this season.

🚩 Liverpool Most Corners in Each Half

📈 Odds: 1.73

Liverpool racked up 14 corners to Leicester’s one in the initial meeting between these sides at Anfield. This disparity tells us the type of dominance we can expect from Liverpool here, they are relentless in attacking areas and their corner record across the season as a whole backs this up.

Liverpool are averaging 6.69 corners per game across their 16 away games in the Premier League this season - more than any other side on the road this campaign. This lines up with their excellent away record which is also the best in the division.

Leicester are conceding 5.38 corners per game at home in the Premier League this season and Liverpool have already shown that they can force a rise in this average when looking at their performance from the initial meeting between the sides. Crucially, Liverpool are only conceding 3.38 corners per game on the road this season.

🟨 Over 1.5 Leicester Cards

📈 Odds: 1.60

Only Bournemouth, Southampton, Ipswich and Chelsea have collected more yellow cards this season than Leicester (75). Ruud Van Nistelrooy’s side rank quite low for fouls committed per game suggesting that this card record is the result of frustration as to how the season has unfolded as opposed to a direct consequence of a tactical element of their game.

Leicester received two cards at Anfield despite only committing five fouls in the game which lines up with their metrics across the season as a whole. Even if Leicester are unable to get close to Liverpool as was the case at Anfield, they can still pick up cards as a result of frustration coming out in their challenges or dissent towards the referee.
