Savinho to have 1+ Shots on Target

Savinho was excellent in Man City’s 5-2 demolition of Juventus in their final group game. The Brazilian winger registered a goal and an assist in a man of the match performance, managing three shots in total during the game, with two of these attempts finding the target.

Savinho will want to make goals a more consistent part of his game, the 21-year-old only scored one goal in the Premier League during the 24/25 season, but did have 21 shots on target across his 21 starts for City (1.07 per 90).

The winger's performance against Juventus should fill him with confidence to try and get on the scoresheet again here, against an Al-Hilal side who will likely be pegged back for the majority of this encounter.

Ruben Neves to Commit 1+ Fouls

Neves sits in the heart of the Al-Hilal midfield and will have a tough time dealing with the rotations City have in the middle of the park, particularly their trio of new signings in Rayan Ait-Nouri, Tijjani Reijnders and Rayan Cherki who have all settled in seamlessly a far.

Neves has committed just one foul across his three appearances at the Club World Cup, but we can expect this to increase seeing as he will be directly up against Phil Foden. Foden’s ability to win fouls has always been a strong aspect of his game and this has continued at the Club World Cup, with Foden being hauled down three times across his 129 minutes of football at the tournament (2.09 per 90).

Neves committed 29 fouls across his 26 appearances during the 24/25 Saudi Pro League season (1.17 per 90).

Man City to Win

Man City have been the strongest side at the Club World Cup so far. Pep Guardiola’s side have already scored 13 goals at the tournament, which is where they will get their success here - even if Al-Hilal can get on the scoresheet, dealing with City’s scoring power will likely prove an almost impossible challenge.

Man City also have the depth of squad to call on their bench if it is needed, which is not something that every side in the competition has the luxury of doing - this could prove even more pivotal with the heat as we reach the latter stages of the competition.

Phil Foden to Score or Assist

Phil Foden has started City’s Club World Cup campaign brightly, looking to put behind him a somewhat underwhelming 24/25 season. Across the opening three games of the tournament, he has scored twice and provided an assist, demonstrating his enduring quality and ability to command a regular starting spot. These performances suggest he is rediscovering the form that made him such a key player for Pep Guardiola’s side.

The arrival of Rayan Cherki this summer has added fresh competition for places in City’s attacking midfield, which could serve as further motivation for Foden. Last season, he managed 15 goal contributions in 45 appearances - a  drop from his outstanding 39 goal contribution tally in the 23/24 campaign. While his recent displays at the Club World Cup are encouraging, he will need to maintain this level to cement his place in the team.

Foden’s talent has never been in doubt, but consistency will be key as he looks to re-establish himself as one of City’s most influential players. If he can build on his strong start to the Club World Cup, he could yet play a pivotal role in City’s pursuit of silverware this term.

Joao Cancelo to be Shown a Card

Joao Cancelo will be facing up against his former side here, a relationship that turned a little sour towards the end of his time at City - but he was a superb fullback for Pep Guardiola during his time in Manchester. He’s never quite lost that fiery edge to his game, which may be even more evident here against his former side.

Cancelo received five yellow cards across his 22 appearances during the 24/25 Saudi Pro League season - only Ruben Neves (6) and Hassan Al Tambakti (6) picked up more yellow cards for Al-Hilal than Cancelo.

He is likely to line up against Jeremy Doku here, who has already won five fouls across his two appearances at the Club World Cup so far (3.57 per 90). Doku averaged 1.96 fouls won per 90 across his 29 Premier League appearances during the 24/25 season and if he's on form, Cancelo could be in for a tough test.

Al-Hilal GK to make 3+ Saves

Yassine Bounou is set to be in for a busy game against the most free scoring side at the competition so far. He’s been forced into making 13 saves across his three games at the Club World Cup (4.33 per 90).

Bounou is best known for his role in Morocco's run to the semi-final of the most recent World Cup, a string of excellent performances convinced Al-Hilal to sign the 34-year-old, who has already shown he can be an excellent shot stopper at the Club World Cup.

City have fired a huge 22 shots on target across their last two matches, scoring 11 goals in the process, and could post similar numbers here.
