Anthony Gordon has grown in confidence since the tournament started, spurred on by his really positive cameo from the bench against DR Congo in which he set up both of England’s goals as they came back to beat the African side.

Gordon has taken five shots overall at the World Cup (1.76 per 90), and I think he’ll get chances to improve on this tally against Ryerson, who he should have the beating of in a 1v1 duel.

Gordon managed nine shots across just 187 minutes of action during qualifying (4.33 per 90) and also maintained an average of 2.38 shots per 90 in the Premier League last season.

Sub On Play On could also really benefit us here as Gordon’s natural replacement is Marcus Rashford who has managed nine shots across just 176 minutes of action at the World Cup (4.60 per 90).

This is a really solid price for Gordon to have 2+ shots, it’s as short as 1.3 with other leading bookmakers.
