Finally, a player whose priority isn’t defending! Having said that, under the now unemployed Ruben Selles, Sydie Peck was deployed in a much deeper role, which impacted his shooting opportunities and is likely why we’re getting this price. Thankfully, he’s now back working with Chris Wilder and being given attacking freedom again, which resulted in three shots against Charlton. Last season, working for Wilder saw Peck take 1.42 shots per 90, with at least two in eight of his last 11 starts for the Blades.

If Sheffield United are going to climb up the table, a game against Oxford is a good place to start getting some points. The U’s have conceded 13 shots per game on home soil this season and are yet to win at the Kassam in league action. Peck managed four shots in his last visit to Oxford and with the shackles removed by his reunion with Wilder, we should see the relief in the form of a few more.
