Level 1 Bet Builder Tip
🎯 Mateo Retegui to have 1+ Shots on Target
📈 Odds: 1.33
Retegui is averaging 1.30 goals per 90 minutes in Serie A, let alone shots on target, and given Roma’s turbulence of late, it’d be a surprise if the Atalanta frontman doesn’t test the keeper at least once.
He’s hit the target at least once in 15 of his last 17 starts across all competitions and comes into this off the back of having bagged a brace against Young Boys in the Champions League.
This season marks Atalanta’s best start after 13 games, and Roma’s worst. If that’s anything to go off, it’s fair to assume the chances will come Atalanta and Retegui’s way.
🏆 Atalanta to Win or Draw
📈 Odds: 1.30
Atalanta come in this clash unbeaten in 12 having won each of their last 6. Most recently they thumped Young Boys 6-1 in the Champions League and they’ve bagged at least twice in 10 of their last 11 games.
Roma, on the other hand, have already been through 3 managers since the start of the season and things don’t seem to be getting any brighter for them. They haven’t recorded a win in their last 5 games and have managed to claim all 3 points on just 4 occasions in their 18 attempts to date.
Looking at the head-to-head, Roma have won just 1 of their last 10 home clashes with La Dea, managing just a solitary point from their last four league ties.
🛑 Lorenzo Pellegrini to Commit 1+ Fouls
📈 Odds: 1.50
Lorenzo Pellegrini has been one of Roma’s most reliable foulsmen and his being priced as generously as this comes as a real shock.
He’s averaging 1.35 fouls per 90 minutes in Serie A, having slipped up at least once in 5 of his last 6 appearances, only failing to do so when taken off at half-time against Napoli. Over this period, the midfielder has averaged an impressive 1.98 fouls per 90 minutes.
Pellegrini is expected to find himself enthralled in a key duel with Ederson who has proven himself pivotal to Atalanta this season. The Brazilian midfielder is averaging 2.03 fouls drawn per 90 which surpasses the averages of all of his teammates.
🛑 Sead Kolasinac to Commit 1+ Fouls
📈 Odds: 1.33
Most would think Kolasinac has done more than enough to be priced far shorter to commit just a single foul.
The ex-Arsenal man has averaged 2.15 fouls per 90 minutes this season, likely making him the most frequent sinner of any player on the pitch. He’s sinned in 93.33% of his 15 games across all competitions and 100% of those in the league.
It remains to be seen exactly how Dybala is utilised in Ranieri’s system but given his importance in this Roma side, he’s likely to have license to roam which could cause Kolasinac a headache. The Argentine forward has averaged 3.03 fouls per 90 minutes so far this season.

Level 2 Bet Builder Tip
🟨 Atalanta to Receive Under 2.5 Cards
📈 Odds: 1.73
Atalanta have long looked a well-drilled side under Gasperini and an abundance of yellow cards has been a rarity this season in particular.
They’ve averaged just 1.68 cards per game and only exceeded 2.5 on 3 of their 13 league games. This selection has been a winner in 6 of their last 7 with La Dea averaging just 8.29 fouls per match over the period.
Roma’s opposition has seen an average of just 2.08 cards per game, picking up 3 or more in just 1 of their most recent 7 games across all competitions. Over the course of the entire season, this selection has been a winner in 9 out of Roma’s 13 league games.
🩹 Ederson to be Fouled 2+ Times
📈 Odds: 1.83
The importance of Ederson in this Atalanta side cannot be understated and they don’t look remotely the same side without his composed presence on the ball.
The Brazilian midfielder has averaged 2.03 fouls drawn per 90 minutes this season and has won at least 2 in 6 of his last 7 and 10 of his most recent 12 games. This selection has already come home in 9 league games and given his likely opposition, we should expect more of the same.
Ederson is forecast to face off with a midfield consisting of Lorenzo Pellegrini and Kouadio Koné, both of whom are averaging over 1.3 fouls per game. Roma as a whole have averaged 12.54 fouls per game to date.
⚽ Over 2.5 Goals
📈 Odds: 1.75
Atalanta are probably Europe’s most exciting team to watch and backing their games to produce goals tends to be a profitable strategy.
Their 13 league games have produced an almighty 50 goals – an average of 3.85. This selection has been a winner in 10 of those games including each of the last 3.
Although it has been posited that Ranieri’s appointment was supposed to sure things up at the bank, we’re yet to see any real signs of this and chances are it could take some time. They were carved open numerous times against Tottenham in the Europa League, although they did hit back with two goals which merit intrigue.
🚩 Under 4.5 Roma Corners
📈 Odds: 1.57
Corners haven’t been a major component of Roma’s games this season, as reflected by their lowly average of just 3.6 per game. In their last 7 league games, not once have Roma accumulated over 5 corners.
Atalanta tend not to concede many corners either, allowing their opposition an average of just 2.77 per game in Serie A. This comes largely as a consequence of their attack-minded outlook which tends to preclude cagey, set-piece dependent matches.
