Smith was on the wrong end of a 5-1 reverse from Edhouse in his opener before bouncing back with a 5–2 win over Dave Chisnall on Sunday. As for Scutt, he made a spectacular start with a 5-0 whitewash of ‘Chizzy’ but then fell to a 5-2 defeat against ‘Madhouse’.
