Jordan Cox was comfortably the best batter at last year's Hundred, scoring 84 runs more than anyone else to top the run-scoring charts.

He averaged 61 in that campaign, and will be looking to make a good start for his new franchise, Welsh Fire, with a spot in the England white-ball sides in his sights.

Cox covered this line in seven of nine innings in last year's competition.

Marco Jansen, who stands at 6ft 8in, will lead the attack for the Fire and will likely get a crack at a vulnerable Southern Brave top order with the ball in hand. He may also come back at the death as well to increase his chances of getting this bet up.

He should be a lock for the 20-ball capacity per bowler, and has a range of dismissals he can target with the bounce he gets, his ability to take pace off the ball and the shape he can get with the new ball.

This was a runner at 16/1 in MI London v Sunrisers Leeds. Before the visitors' mini-collapse it looked very promising with Mitch Marsh going well, eventually posting 144, with MI London chasing the runs down with ease suggesting they'd have comfortably exceeded the 170+ runs line if they needed to.

Welsh Fire are at the bottom of the outright market, but they are a batting-heavy side with England opener Phil Salt, last season's leading Hundred run scorer, Jordan Cox, in their ranks along with a weak bowling lineup compared to the rest of the competition.

The Brave have a few players coming into The Hundred with a point to prove, supported by reliable T20 overseas performers in David Miller, Tristan Stubbs and Marcus Stoinis, all of whom could put a hefty dent in the 170 line on their own.
