Bayern Munich v Greuther Furth
🏟
Sunday 20th February – 2:30PM KO
There’s little doubt that Bayern Munich will have a point to prove when they welcome Greuther Furth to the Allianz Arena in the Bundesliga on Sunday. And that will almost certainly mean a lot of goals.
Not only did the Bavarian giants get well and truly embarrassed in defeat to Bochum last weekend, but they were also held to a humbling 1-1 draw with RB Salzburg in the Champions League. As such, Julian Nagelsmann’s side will be adamant to set the record straight and get back to confident wins.
The Munich side are still without Jamal Musiala and Leon Goretzka in attack, but the typical front line of Leroy Sane, Serge Gnabry, Thomas Muller and Robert Lewandowski should make short work of Sunday’s guests. Bayern have averaged 3.18 goals per game this season and that isn’t likely to change against a Greuther Furth side that have conceded 57 goals in just 22 league games this season.
Indeed, there have been over 2.5 goals in Furth’s last 11 away games in the Bundesliga and over 2.5 goals in Bayern’s last nine league matches. And since we have top versus bottom in this instance, we can undoubtedly expect even more than that on the day.

Borussia Dortmund v Borussia Monchengladbach
🏟
Sunday 20th February – 4:30PM KO
Like Bayern, Borussia Dortmund will turn their frustration and anger to their own clash on Sunday against Borussia Monchengladbach and look to dominate the clash, following a bitter 4-2 defeat to Rangers in the Europa League.
Indeed, Marco Rose’s side have undoubtedly wavered in all competitions this season, with three defeats in their last five games. However, when we narrow in on their home form, we can see that the Black and Yellows have lost just two from 11 in the Bundesliga this season.
Add to that the prospect that Dortmund will likely be able to welcome back Erling Haaland from a number of weeks out with an injury and it’s certainly encouraging news for the hosts on Sunday.
In many ways, Gladbach are the perfect opponent to help Dortmund to bounce back into form. Not only have the Foals won just one of their last eight games in all competitions but they’ve also lost their last eight games at the Westfalenstadion.
In many ways, Dortmund are a bit of a bogey team for Gladbach and even if they were in a decent run of form – which they certainly are not – it would still be hard to look beyond anything other than a home win for this fixture on Sunday.

Hertha Berlin v RB Leipzig
🏟
Sunday 20th February – 7:30PM KO
There’s little doubt that RB Leipzig have improved dramatically under new head coach Domenico Tedesco but one aspect of the club’s form that has yet to turn around is their record on the road.
Indeed, the Saxony club have won just one of their last 10 away games in the Bundesliga this season, which came a few weeks ago against the relegation-threatened Stuttgart. However, that may now be about to change when they make the trip to Hertha Berlin on Sunday.
As much as RB Leipzig have been useless on the road, Hertha have been even worse at home, with three defeats from their last four games and very little to suggest that new interim head coach Tayfun Korkut knows how to turn things around.
Add to that a head-to-head record which has now only seen Leipzig win each of their last five trips to the German capital but also be winning at halftime and full time in each game, and it certainly seems to be the case that Tedesco’s side should have the measure of their hosts in the late game on Sunday evening.
Following an impressive 2-2 draw with Real Sociedad in the Europa League in midweek, Leipzig should be gunning for all three points on Sunday and it seems like a perfectly reasonable thing to expect.
