Torino Double Chance

Torino may have had a mixed start to the 2025/26 season, recording two wins, two draws and three wins, but they have now won each of their last two home matches, including a superb victory over champions Napoli last weekend.

Genoa are also winless in Serie A this campaign, with three draws and four defeats, and have lost each of their last two matches away from home. Genoa have only scored three goals across their seven league matches, too.

They have also failed to win at Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino in any of the last 13 meetings, with six draws and seven defeats. Take Torino to avoid defeat at home on Sunday.

Genoa Over 1.5 Cards

Genoa have received the joint-most yellow cards of any team in Serie A this season with 20, alongside Como, averaging at a notable 2.86 cards per match.

They have received over 1.5 cards in six of their seven Serie A matches, the exception being receiving just one yellow card in their 1-0 defeat to Juventus, meaning this bet has also landed in all of their last five Serie A games.

They are planted at the foot of the table currently, so frustrations are naturally high. They have a poor record at this ground, too, and could be in for another tough day on Sunday.

📈 Torino v Genoa Form & Stats

Torino finished 11th in Serie A last term, but a disappointing end to the campaign, with four defeats and one draw in their last five fixtures, has continued into the opening stages of this season.

Sunday’s hosts have managed two wins, two draws and three defeats from their opening seven Serie A fixtures, scoring just six times while conceding 13, leaving them 14th in the standings.

Their form at home has significantly improved in recent outings, though, as Torino have now won each of their last two home matches, including a notable 1-0 win over champions Napoli. Marco Baroni will be eager to build on that result and make it three straight home wins on Sunday.

The hosts will fancy their chances of doing exactly that when they take on Genoa, as the visitors had endured a challenging start to the campaign, including remaining one of only four teams yet to win a league match.

Genoa have drawn three and lost four of their seven Serie A games, scoring just three times and conceding nine, leaving them 20th in the standings with just three points.

Just one of their three points has come on the road this season, as Genoa scored a 92nd-minute equaliser against 10-man Como to steal a point in mid-September, though they have since lost their last two fixtures away from home.

Patrick Vieira will be desperate for an improved performance and result on Sunday, but history is certainly against them, as Genoa have failed to win any of their last 13 visits to Torino’s ground, with six draws and seven defeats across all competitions.
