I’ve always been obsessed with sports. Over time, this passion naturally evolved into a fascination with stats and sports betting, especially football. The Premier League is my bread and butter, having grown up watching it, but my interest spans leagues across the globe - if there's a game on, I'll find a punting angle for it.

Frankfurt travel to the London Stadium for the first leg of this Europa League quarter-final, marking their first visit to Spurs' ground. Frankfurt, on the other hand, will with confidence , looking to carry their solid league form into this crucial European clash.
⭐ Tottenham v Frankfurt Best Bet
This match has all the ingredients for a high-scoring game. Spurs have been involved in plenty of goal-heavy ties this season, with their Premier League matches averaging 3.32 goals per game. Their attack is the 4th best in the prem in terms of goals, but their shaky defence means they’re just as likely to concede. In European competition, the trend continues—Spurs’ matches average 3.1 goals, with the team scoring an impressive two goals per game.
Frankfurt have shown similar form in Europe, also averaging two goals scored per game, while they have looked vulnerable at the back when on the road, conceding 1.6 goals per game away from home. Domestically, Frankfurt’s Bundesliga games have been even more action-packed, averaging 3.46 goals per game.
With both teams boasting attacking quality and questionable backlines, Over 3.5 Goals at 2.4 looks like solid value.
👕 Tottenham v Frankfurt Predicted XI

🔍 Tottenham v Frankfurt Players to Watch
⚪ Domink Solanke
Solanke has been a key attacking threat for Spurs when given the chance, consistently delivering in both domestic and European fixtures. In the Premier League, he’s managed ten goal contributions in 22 appearances, and he's been even more effective in Europe, racking up six goal contributions in just eight games. Ange Postecoglou has often turned to Solanke in European matches, clearly trusting him in this competition. With Spurs averaging two goals per game in the Europa League and 1.87 in the Premier League, there’s every reason to believe they’ll find the net again.
Frankfurt, meanwhile, have been vulnerable at the back, especially away from home, conceding 1.6 goals per game in Europe. With Spurs expected to create chances, Solanke is well-positioned to either get on the scoresheet or set one up. At 1.91, this looks like a decent value selection.
⚫ Tuta
Tuta has been one of Frankfurt’s most aggressive defenders this season, regularly getting stuck in. In the Bundesliga, he averages 1.2 fouls per 90 minutes and has already picked up eight yellow cards, underlining his physical style of play. He’s been even more reckless in Europe, where his foul rate rises to 1.5 per 90. He’ll be up against a Spurs attack full of tricky, foul-drawing players.
Spurs draw 13 fouls per game in the Premier League and 11 in the Europa League, and many of their most dangerous attackers—Maddison, Richarlison, and Solanke—are among the most fouled. Tuta will likely be forced into some clumsy or desperate challenges trying to contain them.

💻 Tottenham v Frankfurt Form and Tactics
Tottenham have endured a hugely disappointing Premier League campaign. Currently sitting 14th in the table and just five points above 17th, this represents their last real chance to salvage something positive from the season. They are already out of all other competitions.
Despite their poor league standing, Spurs have actually been pretty impressive in attack, boasting the fourth-highest goal tally in the Premier League. Ange Postecoglou’s tactical use of inverted full-backs to create overloads in advanced areas has worked well from an offensive standpoint. However, their season has been completely undermined by persistent defensive issues. Injuries, particularly earlier in the campaign, have played a significant role, but structural problems have also contributed. The absence of a dedicated holding midfielder has often left them vulnerable in transition, and opponents have taken full advantage.
Frankfurt, by contrast, have enjoyed a solid season in the Bundesliga and currently sit third in the table. That said, they did suffer a disappointing loss to Werder Bremen on Friday, which may have dented their confidence slightly. In European competition, however, they have been excellent—highlighted by their convincing win over Ajax in the previous round. They've averaged two goals per game in Europe and have been nearly unbeatable at home. Away from home, though, they’ve shown vulnerability, losing two of five matches and conceding an average of 1.6 goals per game.
Frankfurt tend to deploy an aggressive high press, a tactic Spurs have struggled to cope with at times this season. It will be interesting to see whether they continue to press high or adopt a more conservative approach given the stakes.
