Arokodare joined Wolves from Genk over the summer following a successful 24/25 season in which he scored 21 goals in the Belgian First Division. His shot volume from that campaign really stood out to me, the 24-year-old had 158 shots across his 40 games in the Belgian top-flight (4.61 per 90), so it is fair to say that his first action in most instances when he is near the box is to shoot.
He's started for Wolves in a similar manner, Arokodare had three shots against Leeds last time out despite having the fewest touches of any player on the pitch (24). He didn’t have a shot against Newcastle in his first start for the club, but that is quite an intimidating environment in which to make your Premier League debut. He came off the bench to have two shots and score against Everton in Wolves’ 2-0 win over the Toffees in the Carabao Cup, achieving this tally in just 22 minutes.
Tottenham have improved defensively, but their opening three home games across all competitions have seen the opposition have at least 10 shots. Burnley had 14 against the Lilywhites while Bournemouth racked up 20 efforts on goal, so there is still an air of vulnerability about the Tottenham backline, even if they are keeping more clean sheets than they did under Ange Postecoglou. Both Evanilson and Lyle Foster had at least two shots when leading the line in North London.
This selection is also aided by Sub On Play On, Wolves have a wide array of attacking options that can step in for Arokodare should he be hooked early without crossing this line. Jorgen Strand Larsen is the obvious replacement for the 24-year-old, but should Vitor Pereira decide to go with both strikers, then Jhon Arias and Hwang Hee Chan can also act as options from the bench.
There is excellent value with this selection when backing with bet365, the exact same selection is priced as low as 1.40 with comparable bookmakers.
