Jorgen Strand Larsen has been let down by some really poor service from his teammates this season with the 25 year old sitting on just one goal after 12 appearances in the Premier League. In fairness to Larsen, no Wolves player has scored more than one goal in the Premier League which is pretty illustrative of their problems at the moment.

I think Larsen can be a reliable Premier League striker, as displayed by the 14 goals he netted in the Premier League last season. His physical frame is a real asset of his game, and he’s also good in the air which are both attributes that can aid him when it comes to winning a foul here.

I always like backing strikers to win a foul when I know they will be outnumbered. Larsen plays up front for Wolves on his own and will be up against three United centre backs, offering real promise for him to be hauled down at least once. Larsen has won 10 fouls across his 12 Premier League appearances this term (0.92 per 90) and has won at least one foul in each of his last five Premier League appearances.

Larsen was fouled once in this fixture last season with United committing 12 fouls on that occasion. His main opponent here is likely to be Ayden Heaven who committed two fouls and was shown a yellow card against West Ham last time out.

Wolves can take quite a lot from West Ham’s performance, with the frontline of the Hammers (Bowen, Wilson and Fernandes) drawing eight fouls between them against the back three of Manchester United. Wolves are likely to play in a similar way, and look to be direct to Larsen with the hope of winning second balls.

There is decent value with this selection when backing with PaddyPower, the same bet is priced as low as 1.40 with other comparable bookmakers.
