Italy will be seeking that elusive back-to-back Euro finals victories, only achieved by fellow Group B members Spain, but will first have to navigate through a tough group stage draw.

Italy have proved a real strong side in the Euros over recent editions, making the quarter finals in four consecutive tournament appearances, finishing as runners up in 2012 and champions in 2020.
After a dramatic penalties victory in the Euro’s last edition against this year’s

That wasn’t the only twist in their journey to Euro 2024, with the Italian’s only securing automatic qualification due to their superior goal difference to third place Ukraine – what a tale that would’ve been.
Their difficulties in qualifying have certainly taken its toll on their price to take home European glory once again, with Italy priced at a massive 17.00 to win Euro 2024. However, considering their consistency in this competition, reaching the last eight in all of the last four editions of the tournament, a price of 1.80 for them to make it five in a row does present good value.
Italy’s defence looked uncharacteristically shaky throughout qualifying with Luciano Spalletti’s side only keeping three clean sheets from eight games, of which two came in their wins over 171st ranked Malta, who only managed to score two goals in the entirety of qualifying. Italy conceded five in their spouts with England and this’ll certainly be an area of concern if not fixed for the Italians. This does make the both teams to score markets look very appealing, considering the likes of attacking giants Spain and Croatia accompanying last times champions in the groups.
Corners also seemed to be a big part of the Italian offence, with an average 6.75 Italy corners per 90 through qualifying and winning six corner match bets in quite dominating fashion. Since the conclusion of the qualifying stages, Italy have played two friendlies versus Venezuela and Ecuador in which they took 10 and 8 corners respectively – keep an eye on the corner markets for their group stages encounters.
