Switzerland are pitched into Group A alongside Germany, Scotland and Hungary, all of whom we have covered in other articles, pitching the best markets to target for them throughout the tournament so be sure to check those out too.
Switzerland endured a tough qualifying excursion, securing their spot at the Euros final on the penultimate matchday of the group stages after Israel failed to get a result against 10-man Romania.
Despite this minor trouble for getting out of the group stages, only three teams outscored Switzerland during the Euro qualifiers. Granted they were part of Group I which was one of the three groups that played 10 matches rather than 8, but they still racked up an impressive average of 2.20 goals per 90.
Seven of their ten qualifiers saw over 2.5 goals, with both teams scoring in nine, so there was a real affinity for goals during Switzerland’s fixtures – certainly look to both teams to score markets in Switzerland’s group stage affairs. The Rossocrociati were creating attacking opportunities for fun, averaging 16.30 shots on goal per 90 with 6.00 hitting the target so you can expect some strong value in the shooting markets too.
Zeki Amdouni was very prolific during their qualifying journey, netting six goals which left him as the seventh-top scorer during qualifiers. The Burnley man averaged 1.11 goals per 90 and recorded 2.22 shots on target – he looked a real threat. Amdouni has found it difficult in the Premier League this season, as have all the Burnley side, but he has found some joy, picking up five goals and one assist (at time of writing) and he may be the catalyst once more in the finals.
