Ryan Garcia v Connor Benn Exclusive Boost 🥊🚀 @ 5.00

You won't get this price anywhere else for Garcia v Benn

  • Ryan Garcia v Conor Benn
  • Sunday

Benn has not boxed at welterweight since April 2022, which also happened to be the last occasion on which the Briton scored a knockout win, but still ‘The Destroyer’ has been controversially installed as the mandatory challenger for Garcia’s WBC belt.

However, in a 150lb catchweight clash against Regis Prograis earlier this year, following two appearances at middleweight (160lb), the weight looked to have severely impacted Benn. Here, the polarising 29-year-old must lose a further three pounds, that being as big an obstacle to world honours as the world-renowned champion in the opposing corner.

Meanwhile, ‘King Ry’ has been inconsistent throughout his career, but the Californian at his best is far superior technically to Benn at his best - and it’s very unlikely that Benn will be anywhere near his optimum, considering he has already admitted that this will be his last ever fight at 147lbs following a brutal weight cut.

Garcia was in form when winning the title against Mario Barrios in February and when the champion is more natural at the weight, better schooled, with the superior footwork and speed, it is hard to go any other way than a stoppage win.

The warning signs are there and it seems as though Benn’s physical troubles and inferior skillset will leave him susceptible to a first knockout defeat, - despite his admirable mental fortitude - which could make him hard to put away.

I see Benn being dropped on at least a couple of occasions, winning browning points for his willingness to fight on, before the body shots take their toll and force a stoppage win for the American.

Boxing Tips & Predictions

How To Bet on Boxing

There are many ways to bet on boxing. You can back accumulators taking up the entire card, or even utilise bet builder features to back the main event of a fight card.

There are plenty of variables in boxing, so it’s always important to have a good idea of each fighter when betting on a specific fight. We have plenty of predictions over on our Boxing Tips & Predictions.

Best Boxing Markets

When betting on UK markets such as SkyBet, Paddy Power, and bet365, boxing markets offer value. One of the most popular and profitable markets is the 'Method of Victory' market, where you can back a fighter to win by KO, TKO, or decision.

Another solid option is the 'Round Betting' market, especially when one fighter is heavily favoured. Predicting the specific round or group of rounds (e.g. rounds 1-3) can offer longer odds and big returns. 'Fight to Go the Distance' is ideal when both boxers have strong chins or low knockout ratios.

'Draw' betting can be overlooked, but pays significantly if you suspect a closely matched fight.

Top UK bookmakers will often offer significant 'Price Boosts' on major main events. These can range in odds, with some as short as EVS, and others going up to 100/1+.

Boxing Accumulators

With the introduction of ‘Riyadh Season’ cards, boxing has seen a stark increase in the quality of overall fight cards. No longer is there little interest in the undercard amongst casual fans. Now, boxing cards are more frequently stacked with top-tier names, making it ideal for bettors when it comes to backing accumulators.

Boxing Bet Builders

Bookmakers often offer bet builder options to users for big main event bouts. Markets from this can vary, from ‘Round Betting’ to ‘Method of Victory’, and even ‘Punches Landed’.

Best Bookmakers for Betting on Boxing

If you’re betting on boxing in the UK, these three bookies are solid options:

bet365 – Probably the best all-rounder. They cover loads of fights and markets like round betting, method of victory, and whether the fight will go the distance. Odds are usually attractive too.

Paddy Power – Good for offers and some of the more unusual bets, like a fighter to get knocked down and still win. They often boost prices for the big-name fights.

SkyBet – Easy to use and often features boxing in their promos. They’re reliable for pre-fight bets, especially on UK events.

Best for Bet Builders

If you're betting on boxing, bet365 stands out as one of the best options for bet builders. They offer a wide range of markets, like 'Method of Victory', 'Round Betting', and 'Total Rounds', giving you plenty of flexibility.

Their bet builder is also one of the strongest for boxing, especially during major events, letting you combine different outcomes into one bet. The layout is clean and odds are competitive, whether you're betting before the fight or in-play. Overall, it’s a reliable choice for anyone who takes boxing betting seriously.

Best for Accumulators

When it comes to boxing accumulators, all three bookies offer them, but Paddy Power is one of the better picks. Their interface makes it easy to build multi-fight accas, especially when there’s a packed card or multiple events in one weekend. You can combine many markets across several bouts. They also highlight popular accas and price boosts, which can be handy if you’re looking for inspiration. It’s straightforward, user-friendly, and ideal if you’re looking to stack a few fights into one bet.

Best for Odds

As they often are, bet365 offer the best odds for not just boxing, but across many sports. Along with their premier interface, it’s easily one of the best to use when it comes to boxing.

Best for Boosts & Free Bets

Most bookmakers will often offer enhanced price offers and existing customer boosts for the high-profile boxing fights.
