Two wins in succession for Leicester with 8 goals scored in the process and you get the impression Brendan Rodgers’ men may have turned the corner after a slow start to the season. They return to the Premier League this afternoon as they make the trip to West London to take on an impressive Brentford side who somehow lost to Chelsea last weekend despite completely dominating the game. Fancy this to be a high quality, entertaining affair between two very good sides. I have put together my three favourite bet builder tips and predictions for the game at the Brentford Community Stadium alongside my cheat sheet to assist you with your selections. Good Luck!
Brentford v Leicester City Bet Builder Tips
Christian Norgaard to be Booked v Leicester City
The value in this one appears to be in the card market so I have gone for a couple of Brentford players to be carded on Sunday afternoon. My first selection is Danish defensive midfielder Christian Norgaard who Bees boss Thomas Frank has compared with both Fabinho and Sergio Busquets in his style of play. Now, if you are being readily compared with two players who absolutely love a booking then that is a good starting point. His tenacity has proved vital in an energetic Brentford midfield with plenty of quality and he will be tasked with coping with a seriously talented midfield which is likely to contain James Maddison, Youri Tielemans and Boubakary Soumare.
Referencing my cheat sheet you can see further why I fancy Norgaard. He ranks joint-top at the club for yellow cards this season with 3 and is ranked amongst the top 3 for fouls committed with a very healthy 1.9 fouls committed per game. Directly up against Maddison and Tielemans who are the two most fouled Leicester players, I feel Norgaard at a price of 3.75 really is exceptional value.

Frank Onyeka to be Booked v Leicester City
Very similar thinking for this selection too with Onyeka another prime candidate for a card for the Bees. Such has been the tenacity of the Nigerian international’s displays this season he has picked up the nickname ‘Frank The Tank’ by the Bees faithful. On why he was given the nickname Onyeka himself said “They call me Frank the Tank because I smash people.” Now that is the sort of quote you want to be hearing from an individual you are tipping for a booking.
The cheat sheet once more supports this selection with Onyeka miles out in front for fouls committed per game at a huge 2.73. Beyond me how he has only picked up one card so far in the league but similarly to Norgaard against players like Maddison and Tielemans who draw plenty of fouls, I could definitely see him getting a yellow on Sunday afternoon.

Youri Tielemans to have 1+ Shot on Target v Brentford
Brendan Rodgers is very fond of the Belgian international and who can blame him, he is a truly fantastic midfield player. He went off against Moscow in midweek with a tight calf but all Leicester sources suggest he should be fit to take his place in the starting XI. He will be hoping to continue his ridiculous run of starting consecutive Premier League games. After James Ward-Prowse missed Southampton’s win over Leeds at the weekend, Tielemans became the outfield player with the longest run of consecutive Premier League games, standing at 64 matches, a streak starting in January 2020. Rodgers has said his side quite simply can’t function without Tielemans such is his importance and he is my pick for a shot on target here.
I like to pick out value picks and there simply is no value backing Jamie Vardy at 1.14 or Ivan Toney at 1.17. However, Tielemans at 2.30 looks a fantastic price and his cheat sheet stats remain pretty impressive. Only Vardy and Iheanacho have a better shots on target ratio for Leicester in the league this season and the 0.62 he registers on target from the 2.37 shots he attempts make him without doubt the best value selection for a shot on target,
