Emerson’s move to Milan has been nothing short of a disaster and has resulted in him being a serial offender, with his fouls so often being the product of individual errors rather than calculated or tactical decisions.

He’s averaged 2.34 fouls per 90 in Serie A, the second-most of any Milan player including at least one in each of his last five.

His last two games have seen him penalised an almost miraculous nine times, despite him being subbed off in both of those games.

Filling in to replace the suspended Alvaro Morata, Tammy Abraham has offered plenty of value in the fouls market this season, averaging 2.14 per 90 in Serie A.

He’s struggled with injuries this season and this will be his first start since early October when he sinned five times against Fiorentina. He’s only managed four in Serie A this season but has sinned on each occasion.

He has, however, enjoyed a short 20-minute stints in the Champions League against Liverpool and Real Madrid, fouling in both.

No team has faired worse than Slovan Bratislava who sit rock-bottom of the Champions League table. They’ve conceded 15 goals and scored just two, losing by a minimum of two goals in all four games. Although you might expect this result against Man City, their other three games were more straightforward, facing Celtic, Girona and Dinamo Zagreb.

Milan, on the other hand, have won their last two European clashes by a two-goal margin including an impressive victory over Real Madrid most recently. Despite that, they previously faced losses to Liverpool and Bayer Leverkusen meaning they’re still in a position where they need a big result if they hope to achieve seeded qualification. For that reason, Paulo Fonseca is likely to field a strong 11 who should easily dispatch Slovan Bratislava.

We also think backing Chukwueze for a single shot on target is great value given Slovan Bratislava’s defensive woes in the Champions League.

In the league phase, the Slovakian side have averaged a remarkable 8.75 shots on target per 90, conceding at least five in all four games. Previous to that they conceded 13 shots on target across their two-leg qualification clash with Midtjylland.

Chukwueze has fired off at least one shot on target in three of his last four starts for Milan and should have plenty of chances to build on that against a significantly weaker opponent.

It’s a similar story for Leao who’s displayed consistent returns in front of goal this season.

Out of players for the Rossoneri, only Tammy Abraham can better his average of 1.70 shots on target per 90 in Serie A.

He’s tested the opposition keeper twice in half of his domestic starts to date and will relish the opportunity to come up against a much weaker defensive side, although this selection was also a winner in his last Champions League start against Real Madrid.

Averaging 0.84 goals/ assists per 90, no player for Milan has a higher goal contribution rate than Pulisic.

The US international has provided a goal or assist in seven of his ten starts in Serie A to date, as well as in three of his four Champions League appearances, setting up Thiaw’s goal last time out against Real Madrid from a corner.

Given the hosts are averaging 3.75 goals conceded per game in the Champions League, Pulisic should have ample opportunity to register at least one goal contribution.
