Sassuolo v Inter
🏟
Saturday 8th October – 2:00PM KO
This Serie A match is a very tough one to read from an Inter perspective. The Nerazzurri are coming into the match off the back of a morale-boosting Champions League win against Barcelona in midweek.
That points towards a win here against Sassuolo as they look to build some momentum but the Neroverdi have entered a good patch of form themselves. They beat Sassuolo 5-0 last time out and once again they seem to have a lot of goal-scorers in their squad. They will still be without Domenico Berardi though, although he could make his return from injury from the bench.
Inter are still set to be without Romelu Lukaku and Marcelo Brozovic and they will also be without Joaquin Correa who picked up a knock against Barcelona. There are often goals when these two sides meet and there are plenty of players that will be on the pitch who can find the back of the net. That is why there could be plenty of goalmouth action in this one.
Lautaro Martinez will be desperate to find the back of the net because he has not scored in the least seven Nerazzurri matches. His performances have been promising, but the goals have been missing.
Expect him to be a man on a mission in this game.
