Brommapojkarna v Brage
🏟
Tuesday 25th October – 6:00PM KO
These are two sides pushing towards the top end of the Superettan table and both have their sights set on promotion. However, one of the two teams have their promotion all but sorted and certain.
Under the management of Christer Mattiasson, Brommapojkarna have been exceptional in the last couple of months. They have leapt from the middle-of-the-table to the top-of-the-table ahead of this week’s round of fixtures.
Following promotion last season, it will be quite the triumph and achievement to make it back-to-back promotions and return to the top-flight.
Despite their recent run of form, they suffered back-to-back defeats against Osters and Utsiktens before a much-needed and emphatic return to form last weekend. They went away to relegation threatened Norrby and dismissed them by three goals to nil.
They now face a Brage side that remain in the hunt for the top three and a potential Allsvenskan/Superettan relegation/promotion playoff place with three games to go. However, inconsistencies mean that it is now a long-shot with Brage sitting five points behind third-placed Osters with just nine to play for.
The visitors’ frustrating and disappointing goalless draw at home to Skovde made it back-to-back draws for Brage and they come into this match on the back of a four-match winless run of form.
Brommapojkarna sit six points clear of Osters with nine points to play for as they inch towards automatic promotion. They should all but assure themselves of a top two finish with a victory in this one, especially with their home advantage.

Halmstad v Orebro
🏟
Tuesday 25th October – 6:00PM KO
This one shouldn’t be too dramatic, and it shouldn’t really be overly intriguing from a neutral perspective… and yet, the home team can’t seem to get themselves over the line.
Last season, Halmstad were surprisingly relegated from the Allsvenskan in the Allsvenskan/Superettan relegation/promotion playoff place. However, they stuck by their manager, Magnus Haglund, and, for much of the campaign, they have reaped the rewards of that decision.
A slow start to the season soon gave way before they became rampant and opened up a gap of over ten points with less than ten games to go at the top. However, they now sit second-in-the-table and just five points ahead of third-place ahead of this weekend’s round of fixtures.
Their most recent outing was a fiery 2-1 loss away to Utsiktens, making it back-to-back defeats. That also means they have managed just one win in their last five and just two in their last eight matches in the Superettan.
They face an Orebro side that sit in the bottom-half of the Superettan table. The visitors’ 2-1 loss away to Trelleborg made it back-to-back defeats for their own. They are one of the lowest scorers in the league with just the bottom two, Dalkurd and Ostersund, having scored fewer goals than them this season.
Given that fact, as well as the fact Halmstad have the best expected goals against and expected goals against at home ratios in the league. The hosts should still come out on top and their bad form as helped boost their odds and give better value.

Prediction: Halmstad to Win & Under 3.5 Goals, 2.25 on Betfair (⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️)
