Crewe have had an underwhelming end to their League Two campaign, and they come into the final day with very little to play for. Their recent form has been poor, having lost four of their last five league matches.
Cambridge also haven’t been too good in recent weeks, and that dip in form has put a bit of pressure on them. However, unlike Crewe, they still have plenty to play for on this final weekend, so will need to be on top form. The visitors find themselves third in the standings - they won’t catch Bromley in second, but the aim will be to bat off pressure from Salford and Notts County who are also still in contention for that automatic promotion spot.
Cambridge won 2-1 against Crewe in the reverse fixture, and they will be desperate for another three points this weekend.
