Despite outstanding domestic form, Retegui is yet to score in the Champions League. He can put that right in Switzerland on Tuesday. Retegui’s shot numbers remain good in the Champions League – they read 2-1-2-2 for 1.87xG.
Tuesday’s opponents Young Boys have lost all four Champions League league stage matches so far; 3-0 to Aston Villa, 5-0 to Barcelona, 1-0 to Inter and 2-1 to Shakhtar. In those matches they’ve xGA of 2.04, 3.64, 3.27 and 1.96. Only Red Star Belgrade and Slovan Bratislava have conceded more goals in this season’s Champions League.
