Bilbao have struggled in the Champions League, mustering five points from six games. However, they do still have a chance of qualifying for the knockouts if they can get some favorable results in their last two games.

While Bilbao did secure passage to the next round of the Copa de Rey with an extra-time victory against Ourense CF, their form aside from that has been pretty patchy and ordinary, managing two wins, two draws, and three defeats in their last seven games across La Liga and the Champions League.
