Oliver Glasner recently described Daniel Munoz as the ‘perfect Premier League player’ and his performances at right wing back for Crystal Palace this season back up that claim. His willingness to join the attack as an extra body has seen him register a decent shot average this season.

Munoz has registered 7 goal contributions for Palace this season, only Eze, Sarr and Mateta have provided more goal contributions than the wingback – highlighting just how often he’s involved in Palace’s attacking play.

Munoz is averaging 1.04 shots per 90 in the Premier League this season and had 2 shots with one of these finding the back of the net against Doncaster in the last round of the cup. He enters this clash with plenty of momentum having registered a goal contribution in 4 of his last 5 games across all competitions, so he should have the appetite for it here.

Femi Azeez is averaging 2.14 shots per 90 in the Championship this season but you would expect this average to drop against Premier League opposition. It’s also likely that he’ll be tasked with a more defensively minded role here to deal with the threat offered by Palace’s wingbacks.

Cunha’s shot rate is off the scale at the moment, Wolves’ talisman has managed 4+ shots in 4 of his last 5 Premier League matches with Cunha finding the target at least once in all 5 of these games, with this total rising to 2+ in 4 of the encounters.

By contrast, Tavernier has only recently returned to full fitness and has managed just 12 shots on target across his 20 Premier League matches this season (0.81 per 90). Cunha is averaging 1.47 shots on target per 90 in the Premier League this season which is decent evidence alone but becomes even more convincing when looking at Cunha’s performances against Bournemouth this season.

He had two shots on target and scored the winner in Wolves’ recent clash with the Cherries and also had a few attempts at goal in the initial meeting between the sides which saw 11 shots on target.

Tavernier’s recent return to fitness may also mean he is hooked off early by Andoni Iraola whilst the same is unlikely to happen to Matheus Cunha with the 25-year-old easily being Wolves’ most important player. Cunha is also on penalties and free kicks for Wolves, a luxury which isn’t offered to Tavernier.

These sides have already faced off twice in the Premier League this season, the initial meeting between the sides produced 6 goals in a 4-2 victory for Bournemouth in a game that was notable for Justin Kluivert scoring a hat trick of penalties, meaning that Kluivert covered this line on his own in that particular game with the 25-year-old also having an attempt saved in the game.

The reverse meeting saw Bournemouth reduced to 10-men in the first half which spurred on Wolves and Cunha. Cunha had 2 shots on target in the game whilst Kluivert also managed an attempt on target in the game meaning that this selection has landed in both previous meetings between the sides this season.

Both these players sit at the top of their respective goalscoring charts and are both on penalties for their sides which should aid the pair in reaching at least 3 shots on target here.
