Parker is priced as the heavy favourite for good reason. Priced at 1.22 on Paddy Power just to win, the New Zealander is by far the more experienced fighter, with nearly double the number of professional bouts as his English counterpart. It feels like a lifetime ago that people were labelling Parker as washed following his KO loss to Joe Joyce back in September 2022.

Since that loss in Manchester, Parker has found the form of his life under coach Andy Lee. Six straight wins against the likes of Deontay Wilder, Zhilei Zhang, and Martin Bokole have thrust Parker into this top contender position. It's highly likely he'll continue this run on Saturday night.

That's not to say that Fabio Wardley does not pose a threat. Yes, he is by far the inferior boxer in terms of technical skills, but he possesses one-punch knockout power that can turn a fight on its head. Just look at his WBA interim heavyweight title against Justis Huni back in June. Wardley was completely outclassed by Huni for nine rounds before being brutally KO'd by Suffolk-native Wardley.

Parker's chin has been tested in recent years. Dropped once in his aforementioned loss to Joyce, he has also been dropped by the likes of Andy Ruiz Jr, Dillian Whyte, and twice across two fights against Derek Chisora. Expect Parker to get over the line as the fight progresses, but at a price of 3.75, it seems too generous to pass up on Parker getting dropped. This fight is a gamble to take and won't be without its challenges.

Look to the round market to wrap up our boosted selection for this one, specifically the over 7.5 round market. The deeper this fight goes, the more it plays into Parker's hands. Wardley will come out fast, looking to catch the Kiwi cold, but look to Parker to steady the ship and pick Wardley off as the fight progresses. What's more, this selection has landed in two of Parker's last three, as well as two of Wardley's last three.

Joseph Parker v Fabio Wardley

It's a heavyweight showdown in this Queensbury event, as main event regular Joseph Parker clashes with number six-ranked heavyweight Fabio Wardley at the O2 Arena in London.

This fight is seen as a massive risk for Parker. Many already consider him the number one contender to unified heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk, but rather than wait on the sidelines for his shot at the Ukrainian, Parker has opted to stay active against a top contender in Wardley.
