⚡ Sunday’s Eliteserien Boosted Double (Was 2.20, Now 2.38 on Paddy Power)
🇳🇴 Sandefjord Double Chance (v Fredrikstad)
🇳🇴 Rosenborg to Win (v Kristiansund)
After a long season that started as early as the last day of March, the 2024 Eliteserien campaign concludes this Sunday 1st December. There is still plenty to play for with not a single team (mathematically) guaranteed to finish in any exact position. This should make for a tasty final round where the league table flip-flops.
The battle for the gold medal is between Bodo Glimt and Brann. The equation is simple for Glimt, if they win and Brann fails to win then they will be the champions this season. They are a very short-priced favourite to beat a Lillestrom side who are already relegated. It’s unlikely they’ll slip up, but final-day pressure can do strange things to teams.
The biggest game of the day comes in Bergen where Brann host Viking, their west coast arch-rivals. Brann could yet win the title but they could also drop down to third position, which this particular season would cost them a great deal. The Eliteserien now has two Champions League positions so the silver medal spot is worth more than usual. Perhaps depending on the Glimt result updates might depend on how Brann approach the game as it progresses. For Viking, the equation is much more simple and they must win to get third position.
Due to their vastly superior goal difference, Molde need just one point to secure fourth position and the final Conference League spot, whilst Rosenborg must beat Kristiansund and hope that Molde lose. Quite remarkably, there are seven teams positioned between 7th and 13th who are separated by just two points, so there could be some significant changes in the final league table. Odd and Lillestrom are already relegated and Haugesund are destined for the playoff match unless they can turn around a nine-goal difference to Tromso.

Sandefjord Double Chance (v Fredrikstad)
🏆
Competition: Norwegian Eliteserien
📅
Kick Off: Sunday 1st December at 16:00
Fredrikstad are one of the few teams who pretty much know where they are likely to finish. They could nick fifth position but it’s unlikely and they have far bigger fish to fry next week anyway. The club are involved in the Norwegian Cup final vs Molde which is going to be a massive occasion in Oslo with silverware and a place in Europe up for grabs. Watch out for potential rotation and a lack of intensity.
For Sandefjord, they could yet finish as high as seventh position which would be fantastic for a club who were hotly tipped for relegation. They have finished the season in brilliant form with 4 wins out of 5 so they have clear momentum. There’s a good chance Sandefjord win the game but just taking them draw double chance gives a winner in case it ends all square.
Rosenborg to Win (v Kristiansund)
🏆
Competition: Norwegian Eliteserien
📅
Kick Off: Sunday 1st December at 16:00
Kristiansund could yet finish as high as seventh position but they could be outclassed by a Rosenborg side who have been in strong form to finish the season. The visitors also have a bigger prize at stake with the potential of European football if they win and Molde lose. Whether or not they get some encouraging news from Stromsgodset vs Molde they are likely to be too strong overall.
Rosenborg have won 9 of their last 12 Eliteserien games including 3 of the last 4. This is a team who have been in an excellent rhythm for a while, have the better team and also have an incentive to get the win. Kristiansund have only won two matches since the middle of September and failed to even score a single goal in 6 of their last 9 games. An away win to nil could be possibly on the cards to finish off the season.
