Saturday’s Norway Eliteserien Accumulator Tips
Bodo Glimt Draw No Bet v KFUM Oslo
📅
Kick Off: Saturday 27th July at 15:00
🏆
Competition: Norway Eliteserien
📈
Odds: 1.29
The big shock result last week in the Eliteserien was KFUM Oslo beating Molde 3-2. It has been a remarkable season for the newly promoted team who all the experts predicted would struggle. It was anticipated that they would be embodied deep in the relegation battle but they currently sit as high as 6th in the standings. KFUM have a huge home problem though and yet to win in front of their own fans. All of their victories have been on the road which doesn’t bode well now facing the defending champions.
Bodo Glimt are clear at the top of the table and should be confident after racking up quite a lot of goals recently. They beat Brann 5-0, Odd 3-1 and in midweek claimed a comfortable 4-0 victory against Latvian side RFS in the Champions League. They have lost key man Albert Gronbaek to Rennes for around £12m but there is still a huge amount of quality in this squad.
Bodo Glimt have the best away record in the Eliteserien and they are currently the top team from Norway. They now travel to a newly promoted side who have yet to win at home. Glimt will probably be given a few scares along the way but taking the visitors on a draw no bet handicap looks fairly secure at odds of 1.36.
Fredrikstad Draw No Bet v Rosenborg
📅
Kick Off: Saturday 27th July at 17:30
🏆
Competition: Norway Eliteserien
📈
Odds: 1.50
Fredrikstad ground out a tough 1-0 win away to Ham Kam last week to register their first win in six league games. It was the first success for new manager Andreas Hagen who has taken over after the departure of Mikkjal Thomassen. Fredrikstad played to their strengths last week which is a well organized team, a solid defence and strong from set pieces. They have conceded the fewest home goals (5) of any team this season. Four of their six home fixtures have resulted in under 2.5 goals.
Rosenborg played against Lillestrom last week but the match got abandoned after less than 20 minutes due to fans protesting against VAR. Tennis balls, other objects and even some fish cakes were thrown onto the pitch! Rosenborg have been in mixed recent form and actually beat Man United 1-0 in a friendly a couple of weeks ago. Their away record continues to be a big problem though and statistically it’s the worst of any team in the league. They have lost 5 out of 7 road games, conceding a massive 18 goals in the process.
Fredrikstad are likely to be smarter with how they set up and could hit an exposed Rosenborg on the break and from set pieces. With home advantage then taking the draw no bet option offers some decent security in case this game ends all square.
18+ please gamble responsibly.
