Nottingham Forest’s record of three wins, two draws, and two losses is slightly underwhelming, putting them slap bang in the middle of the pile. The Tricky Trees are three points adrift of the top eight, but also three points clear of safety, so they don’t have too much to play for here. However, finishing as high as possible could be useful as they hope for an easier matchup in the playoff round. 

Sean Dyche has been adamant on rotating his eleven for midweek games, and he opted for several changes against Braga last time out. That didn't pay off, though, as his side suffered a 1-0 loss. Prior to that, Forest also conceded against Utrecht. 

Ferencvaros aren’t a side to be underestimated here - they have scored in every Europa League game so far, and are yet to taste defeat. With a top-eight spot still a possibility, they have every reason to be front-footed in their approach.

The Hungarian side are averaging 9.0 corners per game in the Europa League, landing this selection in each of their last four consecutive matches. BTTS has also landed in six out of their seven European games this term, highlighting how chances tend to be available at both ends of the field. 

It has been a similar story for Nottingham Forest - they are averaging 8.85 corners per game, with 4.71 for, and 4.14 against. That average rises significantly to 12.0 corners per game at the City Ground, with this bet landing in all three of their Europa League matches so far. 

Even in the Premier League, Forest have seen an uptick in corners when playing on home turf, highlighting how they tend to play with more attacking freedom at the City Ground. That often makes for more entertaining games, meaning corners become a target. 

If Ferencvaros are to secure a positive result in Nottingham, Yusuf Bamidele is likely to be involved. The Nigerian international scored the only goal for his side against Panathinaikos last time out, which was from the penalty spot. Bamidele has scored twice from his six appearances in the Europa League this season, averaging 3.12 shots per 90. 

Following the departure of Barnabas Varga, Bamidele has become the main focal point for Ferencvaros, playing in a more central role. He has registered 13 shots in the Europa League so far, and has landed this selection in each of his last five starts in the competition. 

All 13 of Bamidele’s shots in the Europa League have come from inside the box, highlighting how the 24-year-old is able to find himself in dangerous positions. Nottingham Forest haven’t been at their best in the Europa League, and Bamidele will hope to exploit that. 

Ryan Yates has been hindered by a hamstring injury in recent weeks, but he was fit enough to start in Forest’s last Europa League game against Braga. He hasn’t played much of a role in the Premier League, but Yates also featured against both Sturm Graz and Malmo in the Europa League. He was fouled a total of five times across those two matches, operating in the centre of midfield.

The Englishman is adept at drawing soft free-kicks, which bodes well against a side like Ferencvaros. The Hungarian side are averaging 16.0 fouls per game in the Europa League this season, and have already racked up some notable foul counts, including 17 infringements against Panathinaikos last time out, and 15 fouls versus Rangers before that. They tend to press strongly in midfield, which means Yates should have plenty of pressure to absorb.
