Level 1 Bet Builder Tip

Over 1.5 Goals

Odds: 1.40

In our level two bet builder, you'll see that we fancy both teams to score here, but this selection covers us in the potential scorelines of 2-0, 3-0 etc.

County have struggled at the back against top sides this season, failing to keep any clean sheets against the top 10. They are without a clean sheet in seven heading into this match. Wimbledon will like their chances of scoring here.

We expect County to concede, which means they'll need to score a couple themselves if they're to reach the play-off final, they trail 1-0 from the first leg. This match could open up in the second half, expect a couple of goals here. County have seen 2+ goals in seven of their last nine.

James Tilley to have 2+ Shots

Odds: 1.50

James Tilley is probably better known as a winger, but this season he has most operated as a wing-back, whether from the left or right. He is a shoot-on-sight kind of player, with 33 of his 61 shots this season being taken from outside the box.

Tilley has taken one or more shots in 27 out of 37 starts. He took two shots against Notts County in the first leg, both cutting inside from the right onto his left foot. Wimbledon will likely need to score again here in order to reach the final, Tilley hit three shots on target against Chesterfield a few weeks back and could be key here.

George Abbott to have 1+ Shots

Odds: 1.25

George Abbott operated as one of the deeper-lying midfielders against AFC Wimbledon, often going and picking the ball up off the defenders, but his energy allows him to get all around the pitch pretty easily.

He had two shots in the first leg, and has taken at least one shot in 31 of 38 starts this season, including in both regular league fixtures against AFC Wimbledon.

With County needing at least one goal in this game, Abbott may be persuaded to take aim from range more regularly, with most of his shots this season coming from outside the box.

Level 2 Bet Builder Tip

Both Teams to Score

Odds: 1.80

Notts County were unfortunate in defeat against AFC Wimbledon in the first leg, out-shooting their opponents and winning the xG battle by almost a one-goal margin. The Magpies were denied by a couple of good saves from on loan Crystal Palace keeper Owen Goodman, whilst Riley Harbottle produced a sliding interception to prevent a tap-in, and Josh Neufville got back on the line to prevent Conor Grant from scoring.

But we also think AFC Wimbledon will score. A big threat from set pieces, with six of their 10 shots coming via this method, whilst County have failed to keep a clean sheet against all top 10 sides they have faced this year.

Josh Neufville to Commit 2+ Fouls

Odds: 2.75

Not known necessarily for his defensive ability, Neufville had a pretty good game up against a tricky customer in Jodi Jones in the first leg.

Jones wins 2.2 fouls per 90 minutes, so he is a tough opponent for anyone to face. Neufville committed three fouls in the first leg, including one which resulted in a yellow card. He also committed two fouls against Notts County back in March.

AFC Wimbledon will want to break up County’s rhythm as much as possible, and with no deterrent for getting booked again in terms of missing the final, we think Neufville will commit two or more fouls again.

Conor Grant to have 2+ Shots

Odds: 1.80

In the absence of Alassana Jatta, Notts County’s top scorer, there will be a reliance on McGoldrick (if fit) and Conor Grant to provide attacking output.

Grant certainly delivered on that front in the first leg, getting into position to have five shots, four of which were on target, but he was denied by a stubborn AFC Wimbledon rear-guard, and perhaps a touch of poor finishing. There is no reason in our mind whilst Grant won’t be able to get into those positions again on Saturday.
