It was a much-needed victory for Rosenborg last week when they beat Ham Kam 2-0. It ended a five-game winless run in all competitions, and RBK have been hit hard by several squad issues recently. Key man Marius Broholm was sold to Lille, and young starlet Sverre Nypan is on his way out. They also had some injuries to deal with, which hindered the team.

Their best centre back, Tomas Nemcik, is now back from injury, though, and he marked his return with a goal last weekend. Rosenborg have reinforced at full back by signing Aslak Fonn Witry from Bulgarian side Ludogorets for nearly £1m. They’ve signed winger Emil Konradsen Ceide on a permanent deal, and things seem more settled. RBK have decent underlying metrics with the 5th best xG average per game in the league (1.73) and the 4th best xGA (1.33).
