Tallinna Kalev v Flora
🏟
Saturday 5th November – 12:30PM KO
Kalev’s brilliant season continued with a 1-1 draw away to high flying Kuressaare last weekend, this brought Kalev to a 3-game unbeaten streak. Despite the positive result, Kalev were outplayed for the whole 90 minutes, with Ats Purje scoring a 90th minute equaliser to take a share of the points.
Flora are now looking to rebuild their unbeaten streak after the impressive 14-month run came to an end a few weeks ago. A decent 1-0 victory against Paide last weekend currently takes the streak to 2. With the 100-point mark now mathematically impossible the focus will surely shift to the 100-goal mark instead. Playing Kalev is an ideal opportunity to add the current 91 goals scored this year, with Kalev conceding 88, Flora will be licking their lips.
Kalev will be missing their captain Tanel Tamberg, who picked up his 4th yellow card of the season against Kure, and will be looking to star winger Ioan Yakovlev, who has attracted interest from abroad and top Estonian clubs, to continue his fine season, whereas Flora have no worries in their team selection and have a wealth of players to choose from.
Kalev have never beaten Flora, and you have to go way back to 2018 for the last time they took some points in this fixture. Flora dominate these games and normally score at least 3 goals when facing Kalev. Flora will win the game, it’s just a question of how many goals will be scored.

Legion v Tammeka
🏟
Saturday 5th November – 3:00PM KO
Legion will have one eye on the relegation playoffs with just 2 regular season games remaining against Tammeka and Pärnu, which would be seen as 2 ideal matches to build up some much-needed confidence. Legion haven’t played badly considering their league standing and the majority of the squad being built up with youth players, holding Kalju to just a 1-0 win and coming whiskers away late in the game from stealing a late equaliser.
Tammeka continued their decent run of form with a 2-0 win against Narva Trans, in the race to secure 6th place. Since the change of manager halfway through the season, Tammeka have got better and better, which explains the recent form, only losing once in their last 5 games and winning 3 of them.
Both teams have a full-strength squad to pick from. Legion have numerous players needing 1 yellow card for a suspension and will be hoping to not have that coincide with the relegation play offs.
The 3 times these 2 have played this season and has seen an even spread of results, a draw, an emphatic 4-1 win to Legion and most recently a 2-0 win to Tammeka in August. Kevin Mätas who scored in Tammeka’s 2-0 win against Legion, will be hoping to put his missed penalty at the weekend behind him, and finally score his 10th league goal. Whereas 19-year-old Legion striker, Nikita Ivanov will also be searching for his 10th goal of the season and has scored twice against Tammeka this season.
Tammeka are the team in form and should continue that run coming into this game.

Kuressaare v Pärnu
🏟
Sunday 6th November – 12:30PM KO
The form of Kuressaare over the last few weeks is perhaps something to expect next season. After a record breaking season it seems that there are finally some cracks starting to show. Pärnu will be playing Esiliiga next season but they will want to go out with some positive results, so it’s a game to take some interest in.
Kure have not won in 5 games and only won 3 in their last 10, scoring goals hasn’t been the problem with Kure scoring in 9 of their last 10, the problem is keeping them out, it’s been 7 games since their last clean sheet – defensively a mess.
Since knowing that they would be relegated – Pärnu have been playing pretty well despite losing 4 out of 5. 3 of those defeats coming by just 1 goal, a big improvement.
Mattias Mannilaan has found his scoring boots for Kure in recent weeks with 3 in his last 5 and taking his tally to 9 for the season. A makeshift defence is a cause for concern with many players playing out of position to accommodate injuries.
Pärnu have remained with a consistent team all season, with 9 players playing in 29 games or more, goals from strikers Kevin Kauber and Ronaldo Tiismaa have dried up with goals now coming from other areas of the pitch, not necessarily a bad thing.
These 2 have only played each other 7 times in league competition, with 6 of the 7 achieving a O2.5 goal scorline. Kure have won 5 with Pärnu winning the other 2. Pärnu have been playing better since relegation and Kure are leaking goals, but they’re not struggling in scoring them, this one could be an end-to-end affair, with an early goal the floodgates will truly open.
