Spain v Germany Best Bets
Jamal Musiala looks outstanding value at 1.91 to muster a shot on target. His confidence will be up and he has already shown he is a tough player to pin down.
Equally, Marc Cucurella is liable to have a difficult night against him, with the left-back having committed at least one foul in his three outings to date. He is 1.3 to commit a foul in this one and is facing a man who has been fouled 2.73 times per 90 in the competition.
A nice choice to boost a bet builder is Havertz to commit a foul at 1.14. He may not have committed a foul in his last two, but the Arsenal striker has not gone three games in succession all season without one indiscretion.
Indeed, pick any three successive competitive starts from Havertz at any point in 2023/24, and he has given away an aggregate of at least two free kicks. He is 1.83 to continue that trend by giving up a couple here.

📊 Spain Form and Stats
Spain have won all four of their Euro 2024 matches to date, doing so in impressive fashion. Having been flattered by a 3-0 opening win over Croatia in which their opponents created 2.1xG to their 2.0xG, they have since been impeccable.
Narrow 1-0 wins over Italy and Albania saw them dominate the xG count on both occasions, while they racked up an impressive 3.3xG against Georgia in the last 16.
Having been leaky in terms of the chances they gave up against Croatia, the accumulated xG against them since has been only 0.9.
While they have generated 8.8xG – the highest tally in the tournament – they have given up only 0.75xG against per 90, the third smallest tally.
Lamine Yamal may not have scored, but he is carrying their main threat. The teenaged Barcelona winger has accumulated 1.5xG, offering 11 shots, but just three on target. He is also sitting on 1.6xA, which is the joint-third highest in the tournament.
Fabian Ruiz, meanwhile, has resurrected his role as a goalscoring midfielder that he displayed in his Napoli days. He is joint team leader with Yamal and Dani Olmo with 11 shots, while he has mustered a team-high five on target. Olmo, incidentally, managed six shots and three on target off the bench against Georgia.
Ruiz, incidentally, leads all players at Euro 2024 with 1.39 non-penalty goals plus assists per 90 minutes.
Spain’s foul count has been high throughout the tournament. Across their four matches, they have averaged 14.3 fouls per 90, which is third highest among all teams. Their card average of 1.5 is, by contrast, the joint-fourth lowest.
Centre-back Robin Le Normand leads the way with eight fouls, one ahead of Alvaro Morata and Mikel Merino. Morata has a higher fouls per 90, though, on 2.8 compared to 2.29.
📊 Germany Form and Stats
With three wins in four matches at Euro 2024, the hosts have been one of the form teams of the tournament. Indeed, they have enjoyed an eight-match undefeated run, which has seen them pick up six victories, including an impressive friendly win over France in the spring.
The form of Julian Nagelsmann’s side has been no fluke. They have enjoyed a higher xG than their opponents in each of their four Euros matches, totalling 7.7xG for and only 3xG against.
Versus Denmark, they were at their most creative in terms of xG generated as they picked up 2.6 in this regard, surpassing even the tally they mustered in beating Scotland 5-1 on the opening night of the competition.
Jamal Musiala has been the star of the show for the host nation, scoring three goals. Prior to the start of the competition, the 21-year-old had only two international strikes to his name. His burst of four goals and two assists in 10 appearances under Nagelsmann highlights how much his former Bayern Munich coach has transformed his fortunes. He looks long at 4.33 to net in this one.
Kai Havertz, meanwhile, has been the main threat from open play, though his only two goals have come from the penalty spot. The Arsenal striker has still amassed 2.0npxG and seems overdue a goal. He leads Germany with 13 shots and seven on target, with these two figures both excluding the penalties he has scored.
When it comes to the fouls market, Robert Andrich is Germany’s team leader. He has committed eight fouls, though seven of these have come against Scotland (four) and Denmark (three). He is a booking away from missing the semi-final.
Look for Havertz to put himself about. He has five fouls in the tournament, and with yellow cards wiped after this match, the only suspension threat he faces is if he is sent off. He has not committed a foul in either of the last two matches but has not played three competitive matches in succession this season without giving away a single foul.
⚔️ Spain v Germany Head-to-Head
These nations met at World Cup 2022 in the group stage, which was their most recent encounter. On that occasion, they played out a 1-1 draw.
Alvaro Morata gave Spain the lead just after the hour mark, but with seven minutes remaining, Niclas Fullkrug finished off a Jamal Musiala pass to square the match.
Indeed, 1-1 has been a staple result between these countries in recent matches. Three of the last four have finished with that scoreline.
The exception was a 6-0 victory for La Roja in Nations League action in 2020. Ferran Torres grabbed a hat-trick on that occasion, with Morata, Rodri, and Mikel Oyarzabal also netting.
Morata has scored in the last three meetings between these countries and is 3.1 with Paddy Power to net in this game.
