Burrows is averaging 1.34 shots per 90 in 2024/25 for Sheff Utd.

He has also taken at least one shot in four of his last five matches in the Championship. He is a big threat tactically as Burrows is given the left side of the attack to play in despite being a left-back.

Burrows has played the full 90 minutes in the vast majority of Sheff Utd's Championship season, though he was substituted against Burnley, with Sam McCallum coming on and having a shot in his 16 minutes on the pitch, so Sub On Play On is unlikely to play a role here.

Peck’s shot threat has increased in recent weeks. He is averaging over a shot per match in the Championship, currently at 1.12 per 90. However, this massively increases to 1.76 shots per 90 when narrowing down the sample size to Sheff Utd’s last 10 matches.

He has now taken at least one shot in United’s last seven Championship matches in a row, 17 in total across those seven matches, making his price for just one shot look very generous here.

Manhoef is Stoke’s main threat, especially in open play.

The winger has 2.91 shots per 90 as an average over Stoke’s last 30 matches. Elland Road on Monday was the first time that Manhoef has started a Championship match and not had a shot in 17 Stoke matches. 

He has hit the two-shot line in 15 Championship matches this season, 10 of which took place at home.

There is much to favour Stoke ahead of this clash. Sheffield United have nothing to play for given the fact that they know now that they will finish third regardless of results in the last two fixtures.

Stoke’s home form is strong, and Sheffield United’s away form is poor, plus Stoke’s motivation is to get a positive result to stay in the Championship.

A draw would probably be good enough for the Potters though, so it is worthwhile including this as a safety net in this bet builder.

Taking the Leeds match out of Wilmot’s recent form, the big central defender has been having himself something of a shot spree of late.

He had taken six shots in five matches before Monday, five matches in a row in which he had taken at least one shot, albeit one of those was off his back against Sheffield Wednesday. 

He averages 0.65 shots per 90 over the course of the season, but he is in a particularly rich vein of shooting frequently at the moment and is a primary threat from set pieces.

The midfielder is one of Sheff Utd’s big shot threats, and he has hit this 2+ shots mark in his last two matches. Indeed, he has hit this mark regularly when he starts matches, having done so in nine of his last 15 starts in the league.

Hamer is on free-kicks and he has a licence to shoot from distance as well, so he is a constant threat from most positions on the pitch.

He regularly plays 90 minutes, so Sub On Play On isn’t anticipated to play a huge role in this leg of the bet.

Pearson is an integral part of the Stoke midfield and there is probably no coincidence to the fact that Stoke’s performances and results have improved since Pearson has come back into the first team fold in the last few weeks.

However, he has already picked up four yellow cards in six starts since his return, and given the situation on the line in terms of Stoke requiring a result to confirm their Championship status, Pearson will be giving it everything to make that happen.

Stoke carry the greater motivation, and, despite their heavy defeat last time out, greater overall form into this match.

Sheffield United will now have their focus on the play-off campaign and trying to be in the best physical shape possible for that challenge. This could mean some rotation of their key players in the matches before the post-season campaign.

Stoke need a positive result to stay up, and they had looked much better under Mark Robins, having been unbeaten in five until their visit to Elland Road on Monday.
