UFC 314 takes place this Sunday morning at the Kaseya Center, Miami, and our expert has found some good value in the MMA Tips & Best Bets below.

Alexander Volkanovski (#1) v Diego Lopes (#3) - UFC Featherweight Championship

👊🏻 Diego Lopes to Win (2.10)

Could this be the swansong for Alexander Volkanovski? Many seem to think that could be the case.

The Australian is a future Hall of Famer and arguably the best 145-pounder we have ever seen. Wins over Max Holloway (x3), Jose Aldo, and Brian Ortega stack up one of the most impressive CVs in MMA, but this main event could very well be his goodbye bout following some tough losses.

In his way is Brazilian Diego Lopes, whose rise since taking his short-notice fight against Movsar Evloev has seen him shoot up the featherweight rankings with a fan-friendly style.

Volk has had a 16-week training camp for this bout, but this may be a passing of the torch. Odds of 2.10 for Lopes to win label him as the underdog, but they are too good to pass up.

Lopes destroyed Brian Ortega in his last bout en route to a decision victory, and we should see a similar chaotic striking style here. Volk's chin has been broken in recent bouts, and Lopes should have enough to stuff the takedowns of Volk in this Miami main event.

Michael Chandler (#7) v Paddy Pimblett (#12) - Lightweight

👊🏻 Paddy Pimblett by Submission or on Points (2.23)

Now it's time to see what 'The Baddy' is really made of.

This is without a doubt the toughest test the Scouser has faced in his professional career and the first time fans to see if he can back up the talk and hang with the elite at 155.

'Iron' Michael Chandler will certainly be a test, but one I believe suits Pimblett's trajectory. Any hope for the American to get another title shot seems all but gone given his age and his placement in the rankings.

For Chandler, it's all about delivering Fight of the Night bouts in the hope of getting that cancelled McGregor fight.

The odds of 2.63 for Pimblett to win via submission or decision are slightly overpriced. Chandler has shown despite his KO power and Fight of the Year candidates, his IQ at key points in fights can be questioned.

Chandler will want to keep this on the feet, where I believe Pimblett can hold his own. Should Chandler shoot, that's where he'll be in trouble. Paddy is a menace off his back and having a chaotic Michael Chandler is perfect for someone with the BJJ game of Pimblett.

It's certainly a test for the Liverpool native, but the double chance odds are too good to pass up.

Yair Rodriguez (#5) v Patricio Pitbull - Featherweight

👊🏻 Yair Rodriguez to Win (1.57)

Bellator fans rise, it's time for Pitbull to enter the UFC.

The Brazilian has been a stalwart of the UFC's rival promotion for the best part of a decade, and since Bellator's closure, it felt inevitable Pitbull would sign with the UFC.

He's ranked as a betting underdog for his promotional debut against former interim champion Yair Rodriguez here, but the age and reach are an issue for the Brazilian, meaning we're backing Rodriguez on the nose here.

Rodriguez has a five-year age advantage on his side, on top four inches in height and four inches in reach.

The Mexican's kickboxing style is at its best when he keeps his opponent at range and picks them apart with wild combinations.

It's giving the impression Pitbull has made the UFC move a few years too late, and potentially a fate similar to Will Brooks when he made the move several years ago.

Pitbull may very well prove me wrong in terms of his UFC career, but I can't see him getting off to a winning start here.

Bryce Mitchell (#13) v Jean Silva - Featherweight

👊🏻 Bryce Mitchell to Win (2.75)

Right, where to even begin with this one?

By the grace of, as Bryce Mitchell would say, his 'Lord and Saviour', he remains a fan favourite despite recent controversial comments that took the mainstream media by storm.

He has become a meme maker's dream in recent weeks, with his intense press conferences and podcast appearances adding even more spice to this already anticipated bout.

Jean Silva has played his part in riling up Mitchell. The 'Fighting Nerds' member has gotten in the face of Mitchell in several press conference appearances, irking Mitchell to label him a 'demon and a heathen'.

As for how this bout unfolds, I think the bookmakers have made an error in pricing here. Mitchell has only tasted defeat twice in his UFC run, to dominant champ Ilia Topuria and a staggering KO loss to Josh Emmet.

Mitchell is a BJJ whizz who can handle his own on the feet, and Silva is someone who has been shown to struggle in the clinch and in the takedown department. His KO win over Charles Jourdain papered the cracks of what was a lacklustre performance.

Mitchell has faced tougher tests than Silva and while the Brazilian hasn't lost in nearly seven years, this selection is based on spotting value. For those looking to really push the boat out look for Mitchell to win by submission at 6.50, but we'll take the Arkansas-native to win at 2.75 here.
