1️⃣ Wimbledon Day 2 Super Single

Fixtures for: Tuesday 1st July

Elina Avanesyan v Elena Rybakina

Wimbledon

15:30

Under 18.5 Games

There is a slight edge in taking on the under 18.5 games handicap here if you are a fan of Elena Rybakina in this matchup.

Rybakina is given a -6.5 handicap in this match, but if you like the chances of the Kazakh then a 6-3 6-3 or 6-4 6-2 scoreline or similar would be a winner in the unders market, but a loser on the handicap. Obviously the other side of this is that if the match does go to three sets with Rybakina dominating two of the three and covering the handicap it would be a loser on the unders.

The reason that we like Rybakina so strongly here is twofold. Avanesyan hasn't won a match on tour since Miami, albeit she only played three clay tournaments, losing in the first round every time, and she hasn't played a grass court warm up.

Rybakina has it in her to win these matches in a romp. Her serve is formidable on the surface and her groundstrokes should be too powerful for Avanesyan. Her grass preparation has been OK, she covered this line against Heather Watson in the opening round of Queen's.

Fixtures for: Tuesday 1st July

Nikoloz Basilashvili v Lorenzo Musetti

Wimbledon

12:10

Lorenzo Musetti to Win

Fitness is the main reason why the world #7 isn't much shorter than his current price for this match.

There can sometimes be a pre-conception about clay court specialists that they will tend to be weak on grass, but this is not necessarily the case for Musetti.

Whilst clay will always be the Italian's best and most natural surface, he has already demonstrated that he has a beautiful game for grass, reaching his maiden Grand Slam semifinal last year.

Basilashvili is always a dangerous opponent. The Georgian can put it all together and take out almost anybody, especially on the grass where his flat groundstrokes flash through the court, but these days have been rare of late.

Basilashvili is match tight having come through qualifying, and Musetti hasn't played since the French Open, but we suggest that too much of that has played into this price. Musetti should be able to outclass Basilashvili as his natural talent comes to the fore.

Flavio Cobolli v Beibit Zhukayev

Wimbledon

13:50

Flavio Cobolli to Win

Cobolli falls into the category of underrated clay counter here in this matchup.

Whilst we have to be wary of Zhukayev's match fitness having come through qualifying, it wasn't one of the toughest qualifying draws that the Kazakh could have had.

Cobolli has been under-the-radar impressive on grass in 2024 and 2025. He has reached the quarter-finals in Halle and Eastbourne across the two seasons, picking up some notable wins along the way. There is no reason to expect that Cobolli shouldn't be a class above Zhukayev here.

Gael Monfils v Ugo Humbert

Wimbledon

13:50

Ugo Humbert to Win

This all-French affair should be a popular one for grounds pass holders as the entertainment value will be almost guaranteed to be high.

We don't know whether this will be Monfils’ final Wimbledon or not, and there is a small concern that the mercurial Frenchman could turn it on one last time here, but the truth is that Humbert is the player with the better grass court credentials.

Humbert won the Halle title in 2021, Monfils has yet to win a grass tournament across his two decades on tour, and Humbert has a winning record on grass this year as well.

Humbert is well suited to grass with his big serve and his solid forecourt game, this should give him the edge here over Monfils.

Alycia Parks v Belinda Bencic

Wimbledon

15:30

Belinda Bencic to Win

Belinda Bencic made a positive return to tennis last year, and whilst momentum has slowed somewhat, the Swiss is entering that stage of her career where she is building everything around the biggest events.

Bencic had to miss the French Open, but her run to the quarter-finals in Indian Wells and in Madrid shows that her top level is still good enough to progress deep into big tournaments.

Bencic's grass preparation was poor, losing in straight sets to Ekaterina Alexandrova, but this is nothing compared to Alycia Parks’ grass results. Two matches, two losses, one to #273 Carol Zhao and one to #318 Mingge Xu. Bencic should be shorter here.
