17/1 Arsenal v Bournemouth Punt
Bet builder predictions that are eligible for Paddy Power Super Sub will be marked with this emoji ‘🔄️’.
🥅 Kai Havertz to score anytime 🔄️
Havertz is finding great form in his centre-forward role but has also shown a solid attacking threat when dropping back into the midfield.
He has scored three goals across his last two games and has four goals in his last five games in the Premier League. Havertz also scored in his side’s victory at the Vitality Stadium earlier this season.
Creating plenty of attacking opportunities, averaging 2.17 shots per 90 and 0.91 on target. However, his current form exceeds those figures with the German registering 14 shots across his last five games in all competitions, in which 10 have hit the target.
🩹 Martin Odegaard to be fouled 2+ times
Arsenal’s third-most fouled player this season (34) drawing an average of 1.09 fouls per 90. However, the Norwegian has drawn 2+ fouls in four consecutive matches across all competitions, accumulating 10 total fouls. This includes 3 fouls in each of his last two Premier League matches.
Fouling candidates in the Bournemouth midfield and attack include Justin Kluivert, Ryan Christie and Lewis Cook who average 2.59, 1.50 and 1.21 fouls per 90.
🚀 Justin Kluivert to have 2+ shots
The man in form for this Bournemouth side over recent weeks, with three goals in his last six games in the Premier League.
He has registered the third-most shots for the Cherries this season (51), averaging an impressive 2.70 shots per 90.
Kluivert has registered 2 or more shots in nine consecutive matches in the Premier League, totalling 25 shots in that time, and has hit the target at least once in eight of those appearances.
Likely to be restricted in possession which should provoke a more ‘shoot on sight’ approach for the Bournemouth attack. Iraola certainly isn’t the coach who parks the bus so the Cherries should be well up for the task.
28/1 Arsenal v Bournemouth Punt
✅ Arsenal (-2) handicap
Arsenal have scored three or more goals in their last two league games (8 total) as well as their last two matches against Bournemouth, while the visitors have conceded 2 or more goals in four of their last six away days in the Premier League.
Arsenal boast the best defensive and attacking numbers in the league, with two clean sheets in their last three games at home and scoring seven goals in that time.
This selection has won in three of Arsenal’s last six victories at the Emirates, and Arsenal will be keen to make sure their goal difference remains far superior to title rivals Man City just in case this title is decided unconventionally.
The Gunners must win by 3 or more for this leg to land.
🟨 Marco Senesi to be shown a card 🔄️
Bournemouth’s clear enforcer this season picking up 11 yellow cards.
Has been shown yellow in three of his last four matches in the Premier League from a total of only six fouls – when he dives in, he makes sure it’s either the man or the ball that gets past him and not both.
Averaging 1.72 fouls per 90 and will be facing plenty of Arsenal players that are notorious for being fouled including Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Jesus and Kai Havertz who draw 2.19, 1.86 and 1.48 fouls per 90.
🛑 Bournemouth to commit 13+ fouls
The team averages 13.40 fouls per 90 this season, ahead of playing an Arsenal side that averages 10.50 fouls drawn in per 90. With the Gunners likely to dominate possession, the Cherries could be forced into some late challenges in desperate efforts to break the flow.
Bournemouth have made 13+ fouls in 12 of their last 13 games (11 in the league and one in the FA Cup). The only exception to this was against Sheffield United in which they racked up 12 fouls. On nine of those occasions, Bournemouth made 14+ fouls.
The Cherries are also averaging 13.71 fouls per 90 in their away outings in the league this season.
