Declan Rice to Assist

Declan Rice has shared corner kick duties with Bukayo Saka this season, with the Englishman typically delivering in-swingers from the left side. Rice also carries the greater responsibility when it comes to free-kicks, and he needs just one more assist to reach double figures for the season - he currently has nine assists from his 54 appearances across all competitions.

Last season, Rice recorded ten assists, and nine the season before that, which highlights just how consistent his contributions have been in the final third. Since his debut for Arsenal in August 2023, only Hakan Calhanoglu of Inter Milan has more dead-ball assists than Rice across Europe's big five leagues.

Rice usually delivers the ball in with pinpoint accuracy, and Mikel Arteta will hope his midfielder can replicate that on Saturday night on the biggest stage.

Gabriel Magalhaes to Score a Header

Gabriel Magalhaes will be the primary aerial target from Arsenal's set-pieces, as the centre-back is the most aerially dominant player in the squad. The Brazilian scored three Premier League goals this season, all of which came from set-pieces, and he has formed an excellent partnership with Rice in the final third.

Gabriel was absent from the squad when these sides met at this stage of the Champions League last season, and Jakub Kiwior started in his place. The Polish international did not manage to score, but he had two shots with one on target at the Emirates, and he again came close in the second leg, winning a header from a corner which was blocked.

Gabriel will offer a much greater aerial threat than Kiwior, and the Brazilian has racked up seven shots in his last four starts alone - he has been unfortunate not to score in that period.
