bet365 Club World Cup Predictor Game Tips

Atletico Madrid v Botafogo

🗓️ Kick Off: Monday 23rd June at 20:00

➡️ Prediction: Draw

Atletico Madrid have to win this game if they are to have a chance of reaching the knockout stages of the competition. Diego Simeone’s side picked up their first win of the Club World Cup against Seattle Sounders last time out and now face a Botafogo side that have already seen off PSG in this group.

This will be a tight game, dictated by the fact that whichever team wins this fixture is likely to progress through to the knockout stages. Both sides can be quite gritty and determined which should see this game be quite close, Botafogo have shown their talent against European sides and can claim another scalp here.

Seattle Sounders v PSG

🗓️ Kick Off: Monday 23rd June at 20:00

➡️ Prediction: PSG to Win

PSG should be able to comfortably bounce back from their shock defeat to Botafogo in the second game of the Club World Cup group stages. PSG did rotate the side quite heavily with Mendes, Ruiz, Neves, Dembele and Marquinhos all missing out on a spot in the starting 11 which hampered PSG’s aggressive approach to games.

Most of those players should be called back into the starting 11 here, aside from Dembele who is still struggling with injuries. The return of these stars should be enough for the Parisians to overcome Seattle Sounders - the MLS side have lost both of their games at the Club World Cup so far, conceding five goals in the process.

Porto v Al Ahly

🗓️ Kick Off: Tuesday 24th June at 02:00

➡️ Prediction: Porto to Win

Porto collapsed against Inter Miami after taking the lead from the penalty spot via Samu. They struggled to find any momentum after taking the lead which allowed Inter Miami back into the game, eventually coming away winners thanks to an excellent strike by Lionel Messi.

That result means that this game has become a must win for Porto seeing as they also failed to win their opener against Palmeiras. Al Ahly are the weakest side in the group but Porto’s performances so far won’t fill them with confidence. The most likely outcome here is a nervy victory for the European side who should be more severely punished in the knockout stages.

Inter Miami v Palmeiras

🗓️ Kick Off: Tuesday 24th June at 02:00

➡️ Prediction: Palmeiras to Win

This is a straight shootout for top spot in the group. Palmeiras have been the brightest side in Group A but find themselves locked level with Inter Miami, topping the group could be the difference between bowing out in the round of 16 or having a historical run in this tournament so we can expect both sides to take this seriously, especially with the threat of Porto still lurking.

Inter Miami have shown moments of brilliance but haven’t been able to sustain this level of performance over the course of 90 minutes with Javier Mascherano often having to tactically tweak things to get the best performance from his side. Palmeiras should have the edge here as the best performing side in the group so far.

Auckland City v Boca Juniors

🗓️ Kick Off: Tuesday 24th June at 20:00

➡️ Prediction: Boca Juniors to Win

Auckland are already out of the competition after heavy losses against Benfica and Bayern Munich. It’s clear that they are a level below the rest of the sides in the competition and Boca Juniors should have few issues in posting their first win of the Club World Cup against a side that has conceded 16 goals across their two games so far.

Benfica v Bayern Munich

🗓️ Kick Off: Tuesday 24th June at 20:00

➡️ Prediction: Bayern Munich to Win

It would take a massive swing in goal difference for Benfica’s position in the knockout stages to be under threat, but this could end up being the case with Boca Juniors facing Auckland in the final game of the group stages so Benfica will just need to exercise a bit of caution in their final group game.

Bayern have won both of their games at the Club World Cup so far and if Vincent Kompany’s side avoid defeat here, they will top the group. It’s been a relatively untroubled start for the Bundesliga champions and you would back them to extend that here against a side they already beat in the Champions League during the 24/25 campaign.

Esperance v Chelsea

🗓️ Kick Off: Wednesday 25th June at 02:00

➡️ Prediction: Chelsea to Win

Chelsea looked second best in their 3-1 defeat to Flamengo last time out. Nicolas Jackson’s red card was the catalyst for the Brazilian side to take control of the game and condemn Chelsea to their first defeat in the competition.

The result has caused a slight issue for Chelsea as Esperance managed to get all three points against LAFC leaving the Tunisian side with a real opportunity to cause a shock and qualify from this group if they can get a solid result against the Blues.

However, Chelsea have handled pressure pretty well over recent months as their qualification for the Champions League and Conference League triumph would suggest. The Blues should be able to shake off that disappointing result against Flamengo to return to winning ways here.

LAFC v Flamengo

🗓️ Kick Off: Wednesday 25th June at 02:00

➡️ Prediction: LAFC to Win

LAFC are already out of the competition after losing both of their games against Chelsea and Esperance, without even scoring a goal. You could make a case for the MLS side being a bit unprepared for this tournament seeing as they were a late call up but Flamengo have looked anything but unprepared, winning both of their games so far.

Flamengo’s 3-1 win over Chelsea last time out will add another layer to their confidence which they can use to dispatch LAFC here and secure their route to the knockout stages as group winners.

Dortmund v Ulsan

🗓️ Kick Off: Wednesday 25th June at 20:00

➡️ Prediction: Dortmund to Win

Dortmund secured their first win of the competition with a 4-3 victory over Mamelodi Sundowns last time out. Niko Kovac’s side weren’t the most convincing at the back which may be something to keep an eye out for later on in this tournament but have managed to find their scoring touch after failing to breakdown Fluminense.

Ulsan have already been eliminated from the competition after losing both of their opening group games. They conceded five goals across these fixtures which would suggest that Dortmund should be able to break them down even if the Korean side are stubborn early on.

Mamelodi Sundowns v Fluminense

🗓️ Kick Off: Wednesday 25th June at 20:00

➡️ Prediction: Fluminense to Win

Mamelodi Sundowns have been one of the most entertaining sides to watch at the Club World Cup. The South African side are still within a chance of qualifying as they are just one point behind both Dortmund and Fluminense.

The Sundowns put in a decent display against Dortmund last time out, scoring three goals against the Bundesliga side which showed just how many problems they can cause backlines. The challenge for the Sundowns will be keeping a lid on the opposition, Fluminense netted four goals against Ulsan last time out and it may just be that firepower which inches the Brazilian outfit past the South African side.

Inter Milan v River Plate

🗓️ Kick Off: Thursday 26th June at 02:00

➡️ Prediction: Draw

Inter still have plenty of work to do to secure their spot in the knockout phases of the competition with both River Plate and Monterrey still in the running to finish in the top two and cause a real shock in Group E.

Inter haven’t been at their best across the opening two games of the tournament, they survived a scare against Urawa Red Diamonds last time out and struggled to find a way past Monterrey in their opening game - these performances will encourage a River Plate side who looked very bright in their opening fixture.

Urawa Red Diamonds v Monterrey

🗓️ Kick Off: Thursday 26th June at 02:00

➡️ Prediction: Monterrey to Win

Urawa Red Diamonds are already eliminated from the competition which will give Monterrey an opportunity to register their first victory at the Club World Cup, a victory that could prove vital seeing as they are only two points adrift both River Plate and Inter.

Urawa have conceded five goals across their two game at the Club World Cup which is a record that will encourage Monterrey who have only conceded one goal at the tournament so far - it is clear that this is their strength and they’ll look to rely on their defensive game plan to get a positive result here against a side that have already been eliminated.

Juventus v Manchester City

🗓️ Kick Off: Thursday 26th June at 20:00

➡️ Prediction: Draw

Both Juventus and Manchester City have already qualified from this group which has played out exactly how many would expect. There is still the matter of topping the group to be decided, but this is likely to be a secondary issue to Tudor and Guardiola who will rotate their sides in this final group game to manage fatigue.

The rotation from both camps should create a stifled and interrupted game which is likely to be quite slow and laboured at times with both sides knowing that they have already reached the knockout stages of the competition.

Wydad AC v Al Ain

🗓️ Kick Off: Thursday 26th June at 20:00

➡️ Prediction: Wydad AC to Win

These sides are playing for pride here with both already eliminated from the competition. Wydad Casablanca certainly look a more complete side than Al Ain who have conceded 11 goals across their two games at the Club World Cup, only Auckland (16) have conceded more in the group stages.

Wydad have offered more of an attacking threat in their two games against Manchester City and Juventus to suggest that they can record a pride driven victory for their fans after their short campaign at the Club World Cup.

Al Hilal v Pachuca

🗓️ Kick Off: Friday 27th June at 02:00

➡️ Prediction: Al Hilal to Win

Pachuca have been eliminated from the Club World Cup following their defeat to Real Madrid last time out but Al Hilal can still qualify with a win here and if Real Madrid manage to beat Salzburg.

Al Hilal have drawn both of their games at the Club World Cup so far, the 1-1 draw against Real Madrid was impressive but their 0-0 draw against Salzburg was less convincing. This would suggest that Al Hilal are still adapting to the play style and processes of Simone Inzaghi which may take time to implement.

That being said, the Saudi Pro League side have shown enough to suggest that they can record their first victory of the tournament here.

Salzburg v Real Madrid

🗓️ Kick Off: Friday 27th June at 02:00

➡️ Prediction: Real Madrid to Win

Real Madrid looked a lot sharper in their 3-1 win over Pachuca last time out, a victory that was even more impressive when considering that Xabi Alonso’s side had to play more than 80 minutes with 10 men following an early sending off for Asencio.

Real Madrid should be able to continue that form here against a Salzburg side that they have already beaten in the league phase of the Champions League during the 24/25 campaign.

bet365 Club World Cup Predictor Game Explained - How To Play

The way to play is simple, all you need to do is predict the match result of every Club World Cup fixture, pick a team from every game to win, draw or lose.

The more results you get correct, the more points you will earn. The amount of points you get for each prediction is also dependant on the odds for the match. You get a 10 point stake for each prediction, so the higher the odds of your correct prediction, the more points you'll get - so it pays to be bold.

For example, if you predict a draw at odds of 6.50 and the prediction wins, you'll earn 65 points from that correct prediction, while if you back a team to win at odds of 2.50 and you are correct once more, you will earn 25 points from that correct prediction.

Additionally, for each matchday, you will be able to lock in one prediction as your 'Daily Double', which gives you the opportunity to double your point for that match if your predictions is correct.
