On the domestic front, Napoli snapped a three-game run of draws in Serie A by grinding out a narrow 1-0 win over Sassuolo on Saturday. The result leaves the Blues sitting in 3rd position in the Italian top-flight, six points adrift of league-leaders Inter Milan.

Napoli have been reduced to 10 men in two of their three Champions League away games this season, while they also received a red card in a recent road win at Lazio in Serie A.

Napoli boss Antonio Conte is well-known for deploying a 3-4-2-1 formation. Danish striker Rasmus Hojlund is expected to lead the line on his return to his homeland on Tuesday night.
