Randers v FC Nordsjælland
🏟
Sunday 23rd October – 1:00PM KO
This is the most exciting match in the 14th round of the Danish Superliga. Number two Randers take on FC Nordsjælland who are leading the league. Only two points divide the teams, and Randers can thus conquer the first place with a victory.
Randers went undefeated through the first ten games of the season, but they have slowed down recently. In their last five league games, they have won just once. In their last league game, against Silkeborg, they were down 3-1 and were incredibly lucky to pull away with a draw after a last second equalizer. They did win 2-0 against 1st division team, Vendsyssel, in the cup Thursday, but that shouldn’t change much. Randers are furthermore without former Manchester United midfielder Tosin Kehinde due to an injury.
While Randers are struggling, things are looking fine for FC Nordsjælland. The young team from the north of Zealand threw away a victory against AGF last weekend by allowing an 88th minute equalizer, but they played a fine game. Before that, Nordsjælland had a couple of impressive performances by getting 1-1 away against FC Copenhagen and then defeating Randers 3-1 at home in Farum. Only issue for Nordsjælland is that they’ll be without Ernest Nuamah as he was shown a red card last weekend.
Nordsjælland were by far the better team the last time these two sides met, and Randers are struggling these days. We expect Nordsjælland to increase their lead at the top of the league, and recommend betting on Nordsjælland to win draw no bet at 1.83 at Betfair.

AC Horsens v Silkeborg
🏟
Sunday 23rd October – 3:00PM KO
Another weekend, and another match between two rivals from the center of Jutland in the Superliga. Horsens take on Silkeborg at home, and it should be in front of a large crowd.
The home team has won just one of their last six league matches, and the confidence level isn’t the highest in Horsens. They are struggling offensively, and the previously so good defense is suddenly giving away more chances than usual. Horsens are tenth in the league with just 15 points after 13 matches, and they are fighting hard to avoid relegation. They are skilled defensively, but don’t create many chances, and they are without key player Alexander Ludwig for this match.
Silkeborg were part of an entertaining match last week, drawing 3-3 against Randers. Silkeborg deserved to win that match, but Randers were clinical as usual and equalized in the dying seconds of the game. Nevertheless, Silkeborg remains one of the strongest teams in the Superliga, and they are undefeated in their last six games in all tournaments. They are furthermore coming off two 5-0 victories in the Conference League against Romanian giants FCSB, so they enter this match in great form.
Silkeborg won the previous match against Horsens 2-1, and they are favourites against this Sunday. We are going with Silkeborg to win draw no bet at odds 1.5 at Betfair.

AGF v Brøndby
🏟
Sunday 23rd October – 5:00PM KO
The matches between AGF and Brøndby are always heated – on and off the pitch. Their fans don’t like each other, and they have played some truly historic matches over the years. This match will be without Brøndby fans in the away section though, as they have been banned from all away matches for the rest of 2022 for security reasons.
After a series of poor results, AGF got a boost last weekend by securing a late draw against league leaders, FC Nordsjælland away. However, there is still a crisis going in Aarhus, as The Whites have only won one of their last seven league games. Their issues are especially in the offensive part of the game. They aren’t creating enough chances, and apart from captain Patrick Mortensen, their offensive players are not scoring goals. They have left three of their previous five league games without scoring.
Brøndby are in a crisis mode. Wednesday, they suffered arguably the club’s worst ever defeat as they lost 4-0 away to 3rd tier side Aarhus Fremad. The fans are calling for the heads of both the sports director and the head coach, and a new owner is almost ready. Brøndby should soon be bought by David Blitzer who also has a share of Crystal Palace. Until the ownership change is going through, the club isn’t likely to make any drastic changes though, so the limbo continues. Brøndby have won two of their last seven matches in all tournaments, and they have struggled to create chances.
We expect a close match with a lot of hard tackles and fights. However, we also expect a match with few shots on goal from two teams in bad shape. Odds 1.78 on under 2.5 goals at Betfair is great value.

AaB v Viborg
🏟
Monday 24th October – 6:00PM KO
Monday evening, AaB take on Viborg FF in Aalborg. The home side is 11th in the league while the guests are sitting third going into this match. Still, it is a match between two teams who are struggling, and it could easily turn out closer than the table would suggest.
Despite being one of the bigger clubs in Denmark, AaB are currently in serious relegation danger. They are second to last and they aren’t playing well. The club recently hired former Swedish national team head coach, Erik Hamrén, but it hasn’t improved the results much. They have, however, stopped losing. AaB are undefeated in their last four matches across all tournaments, and last week they had their first victory since the beginning of September by defeating Lyngby 2-0 away. Tuesday, they then followed that win with a victory against 2nd division side Vanløse in the cup. The cup victory was hard fought though, as they had to go to extra time before it was secured.
Viborg also struggled in the cup. They met 3rd division side Ishøj IF and also had to go to extra time before they took home a 3-2 victory. In the league, Viborg have also slowed down after a fantastic start to the season. They have drawn their last four league games and only scored two goals in this span. They are still difficult to beat as the results are showing, but they aren’t creating as many chances anymore, and they have lost their momentum.
We expect a close and low scoring match between two sides that doesn’t score many goals these days. Odds 1.95 on under 2.5 goals at Betfair is our recommended pick for this match.
