Andy's 26/27 Premier League Goalscorer Outright ⚽ @ 26.00

Andy Robson

This exact bet landed last season

  • Premier League Outright
  • Friday

Don’t need to say much here, the guy is a freak.

He’s scored 25+ goals in three of his four seasons in the Premier League.

Only Haaland (24) scored more non-penalty goals in the Premier League than Semenyo (16) last season.

He’ll be one of City’s biggest goal threats away from Erling Haaland with there being a 10 goal gap between Semenyo and City’s next biggest scorer in Foden last season.

Semenyo has been in very good form during pre-season, registering an assist in all three of his appearances. He’s also spoken about enjoying his role under Maresca and he should continue to be a threat in front of goal.

Morgan Gibbs-White finished last season with his best ever goal tally in the Premier League, netting 15 goals across his 35 starts with only one of these goals coming from the penalty spot.

This tally was nine more goals than Forest’s next top scorer in Igor Jesus - so we can expect Gibbs-White to be an influential player in front of goal for Forest again this campaign with Chris Wood likely to be absent for the start of the season.

Gibbs-White should have extra motivation this season too after being left out of the England squad over the summer, and has plenty of creative teammates to fashion him chances.

Bryan Mbeumo ended last season as Manchester United’s joint top scorer in the Premier League with 11 goals to his name.

He’s a proven goalscorer in the division having reached double digits in each of the last two campaigns - including a 20 goal haul in his final season at Brentford.

Manchester United also play in a way that really suits Mbeumo with Carrick wanting his side to play in transition, making the most of the speed Mbeumo has when running in behind.

Morgan Rogers has made the move from Villa to Chelsea over the summer in a big money transfer which carries a lot of expectation.

Rogers has scored 14+ goals across all competitions in each of his last two seasons with Aston Villa and his output should improve further now that he has the likes of Palmer and Joao Pedro around him.

Rogers’ shot volume has steadily increased over the last two campaigns and he should get plenty of chances as part of an exciting Chelsea attack guided by Xabi Alonso.

Early 26/27 Top Finish Outright 🏆🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 @ 22.00

Andy Robson

I landed 11/1 & 16/1 Outrights during the World Cup ✅

The top four race looks really open this season and Chelsea have a real advantage by not being in Europe.

Chelsea are not as far away from the Champions League spots as their 10th placed finish last year would suggest.

The Blues pretty much tanked their season after Enzo Maresca left the club and were around the top three positions while he was still in his role.

Chelsea have signed Morgan Rogers as well as Marco Palestra already this summer and are heavily linked with a move for Maxence Lacroix at the time of writing.

These additions add to the likes of Emegha and Quenda who had already secured moves to the West London side.

These signings signal a shift from Chelsea’s previous obsession with only securing young talent. Most of these players are also very tall and physical, an aspect that Chelsea desperately fell short for last year.

Xabi Alonso is clearly a very capable manager having won the league title with Bayer Leverkusen and maintaining a 71% win percentage as Real Madrid boss.

He’s coming into an environment where the likes of Liverpool and Manchester City, the two powerhouses of the last 10 years, have new managers - a terrain which could be perfect for Alonso to finally make this Chelsea side competitive in the Premier League with only one game per week.

Stockport faced heartbreak in the League One Play-Off Final at the end of last season as they were beaten 4-1 by Bolton at Wembley.

That was the second consecutive season in which Stockport have finished third and gone out in the playoffs, which tells me that they are a club that are doing a lot of things right at this level and should have a decent stab at getting out of League One at the third time of asking.

Stockport really didn’t do much wrong when you look at their underlying numbers from last season, they ranked within the top 5 sides for most key metrics and also had one of the league’s top scorers in Kyle Wootton.

Stockport were a similar price to register a Top 6 finish last year and I think the market is underestimating their chances again as a side that now understands League One quite well. Stockport are priced at 5.50 to earn promotion this year, which is a price also worth looking at.

Barnet are definitely a side worth keeping an eye on this year after finishing eighth at the first time of asking after winning promotion to the EFL.

They finished just two points below a spot in the playoffs last year and notably had the second best away record of any side in the division. It was their inconsistent home form which saw them fall short of a Top 7 finish.

Barnet are third favourites to be promoted from League Two this term, only sitting behind Salford City and Bristol Rovers. We’ve got some insurance by backing them for a Top 7 finish even if they slightly underperform from pre-season expectations.

The Championship extending the number of playoff spots down to eighth is a really significant change this season and Wrexham could easily benefit.

Phil Parkinson’s side finished seventh last season, just two points away from Hull who eventually earned promotion to the Premier League via the playoffs.

That finish would be enough this year for Wrexham to have a chance of promotion and I think we’ll see the Welsh side battling in the top half of the Championship again this term.

Wrexham have a really deep squad with a wealth of Championship and EFL experience that can aid them in a push for the playoffs this year.

I think there’s a decent price on this when considering that the likes of Norwich, Sheffield United and Birmingham are shorter than Wrexham to secure a Top 8 Finish - I’d back Wrexham to be just as competitive as those sides.

Andy's 26/27 EFL Outright 🏆 @ 67.00

Andy Robson

My 66/1 Outright covering the Championship, League One & League Two

It might take some time to get used to seeing West Ham in the Championship, given the size of the club, but the expectation is that they will bounce straight back up to the top flight.

While they have sold a couple of key players early in the transfer window, the club’s stance seems to be one of keeping the core of their squad together.

Jarrod Bowen is confirmed to be staying at the club, which is a massive boost for the Hammers.

West Ham have the most valuable squad in the Championship, with massive financial advantages which give them the edge.

This price of 3.0 is quite short for them to top the standings, but they have more than enough quality to do so over the course of the 46-game season.

Derby's position looks a lot more secure than Watford’s heading into this new season, and they will be hoping to push for promotion.

The Rams narrowly missed out on the play-off spots by just four points last season, which ultimately came down to the final day, but the expanded play-off spots from four to six could benefit Derby.

John Eustace has emphasised that he wants his team to aim high, and Derby have managed to permanently secure the services of Bobby Clark following his loan spell at the club last season.

They have also added some experienced heads, notably Charlie Taylor on a free transfer - that kind of shrewd business is another positive sign.

Derby have strengthened their position from last season, so there is an expectation for them to improve on their points tally of 69 to compete in the playoffs.

Want to back a manager who's been there and done it? Paul Warne has won promotion from League One four times, with two different clubs already.

They've already got strength in depth in the squad; the team they built in their League Two promotion last season had this season in mind, already operating with a wage budget towards the top end of League One.

Leicester and Sheffield Wednesday are top of the market, after going through serious off-field issues and cannot yet be relied on to produce consistent, competent performances, with squad depth a concern for both sides where it absolutely isn't for MK.

Warne has built a reliable squad he's familiar with and has a repeatable on-pitch method that has worked wonders in League One before.

He's got promotion pedigree and will be backed in January if they're in the mix.

Argyle were the best team in League One after Christmas last season who didn’t win promotion.

They ended up two points short of the play-offs after a remarkable revival, flirting with relegation early on, and they're still shrewd operators in the transfer market for the level.

They've got towards £5 million from the sale of Lorent Tolaj from Bristol City to reinvest.

Despite coming 9th, they actually had the 2nd-best away record in the league last season.

They're fifth-favourites for the league at the moment, but there are serious question marks around all the teams above them (Huddersfield, Luton, Sheff Wed and Leicester).

They won League One just over three years ago and have the stability on and off the pitch to push again.

They've shored up the defence that held them back last season, and are a team that look destined for a play-off finish.

Barnet are irresistible for the xG lovers.

They spent the entire 2025/26 season at the top end of the expected points table, despite lingering in mid-table in reality before putting together a late dart for the play-offs, only missing out by two points.

They won seven and drew two of their final nine league games, winning the last five on the bounce.

Carry that into this season, and they’ll be in the top three mix without a doubt.

With fourth-tier budget beasts like MK Dons and Notts County out of the way now (winning promotion last season), and three of the four coming down looking more likely to suffer a double relegation than bounce straight back, the stars have aligned pretty well for Barnet to mount a serious push.

Price Boost: Arsenal to finish 1st & Man City to finish 2nd 🚀 @ 8.00

Andy Robson

Landed last season, some bookies are as short as 3.0

  • Outright
  • Friday

This bet is priced as short as 2/1 with some bookies.

Sky Bet are offering a 167% increase on 2/1, boosting this from 5/1 to 7/1 themselves, for a repeat of last season's Premier League - Arsenal finishing 1st and Man City 2nd.

With so much turnover elsewhere, Arsenal are 6/4 to retain the title and with City are the clear second-favourites in the market.

Enzo Maresca has experience balancing European football and aiming to compete towards the top of the division, they have the heavily odds-on favourite for the Golden Boot, Erling Haaland, in their ranks and a repeatable playing style that Maresca will look to build on, rather than tearing it up and starting from scratch.

Third and fourth favourites for the title, Liverpool and Chelsea, are set to endure clunkier transitions with their managerial changes (Arne Slot to Andoni Iraola and Liam Rosenior/Calum McFarlane to Xabi Alonso).

The top two in the Premier League has been Arsenal and Man City, in different orders, in three of the last four seasons.

7/1 suggests there is only a 12.5% chance that it finishes Arsenal 1st and Man City 2nd, I'd argue it's far more likely than that and other bookies agree.

What Are Outright Bets?

An outright bet is a bet on a season-long or tournament-long outcome.

Rather than predicting the result of a single match, you’re backing outcomes such as who wins the league, who gets relegated, or who claims the Golden Boot. That’s the key distinction from match betting, where you’re betting on one game, and from bet builders or accumulators, which combine multiple markets or matches but still settle within days rather than months.

Outright bets require you to back your judgement over the course of an entire campaign, with odds changing constantly as the season unfolds. By the time the bet settles, the price may look very different from the one available when you placed it.

League Winner Tips

Premier League Winner Tips

Premier League outright markets are usually dominated by a handful of clubs. Defending champions and teams with recent title success often start among the favourites, with their recent achievements, financial strength and squad quality influencing their position in the market.

However, prices can shift significantly once the season is underway and form, injuries and squad depth are tested, meaning early odds do not always hold up. Punters assessing these markets tend to weigh up a team’s resources, managerial continuity and fixture list when judging their chances over the course of the campaign.

Champions League Winner Tips

The Champions League winner market requires a different approach from domestic title markets because of the competition’s structure. Prices can move sharply once the league phase concludes and the knockout draw is confirmed.

The tournament then shifts to one-off and two-legged ties, where one difficult night can eliminate a team regardless of their underlying quality. As a result, early-season outright prices can be less reliable, with value often emerging later as the knockout landscape becomes clearer.

EFL Outright Winner Tips

Across the Championship, League One and League Two, outright winner markets tend to be far more open than their Premier League equivalent.

Squad turnover between seasons is higher, and the gap between the strongest and weakest sides is usually narrower, which keeps these markets competitive for longer into the campaign.

Managerial turnover is also a key factor, with changes in the dugout often reshaping expectations and influencing a team’s prospects. January transfer activity can also lead to significant shifts in the market.

European Leagues Winner Tips

Outright winner markets across Europe’s major leagues differ significantly in how competitive they are. Some domestic competitions are dominated by one or two clubs almost every season, which can leave limited value at the top of the market, while others offer a much wider range of realistic contenders. Understanding the balance of power in the league you’re betting on is particularly important in these markets.

Relegation & Bottom of the Table Tips

Relegation Predictions

Relegation odds reflect which clubs are best positioned to survive a demanding campaign. Newly promoted sides often attract attention in this market as they adapt to the challenges of a higher division, while historical survival trends can provide useful context around the task they face.

Teams that lose key players between seasons can also see their prospects change quickly. Squad depth and managerial experience at that level are also important factors, with teams lacking either often facing greater scrutiny.

Once the season gets underway, a slow start or a prolonged stretch of poor form can quickly see relegation odds shorten, while a positive run of results can have the opposite effect and see prices drift.

Bottom-Half Finish Tips

Bottom-half markets are about identifying where teams are likely to finish in the league table. Unlike relegation outright bets, this market focuses on clubs that may fall short of placing in the top-half without necessarily being involved in a fight for survival.

This can include newly promoted sides adjusting to a higher level, teams whose prospects have weakened after losing key players, or clubs led by experienced managers who provide stability. It rewards a realistic assessment of a team’s position within the division rather than relying on reputation alone.

Top-Half & European Places Tips

Top-Half Finish Tips

Backing a top-half finish is about identifying teams with realistic upside. A move into the top half can be driven by astute summer recruitment, an underrated manager or a less demanding schedule due to the absence of European commitments.

Continuity in the dugout and within the squad can also be valuable, with settled teams often better placed to build on previous campaigns.

It is a market that focuses on teams capable of taking a step forward without necessarily being expected to challenge for European places, while also covering clubs that regularly find themselves finishing in and around this position each season.

European Places Tips

European qualification markets are about identifying which clubs can break into the continental positions.

These markets often remain competitive deeper into the season than the title race itself. Teams can gatecrash the European places with a strong run of results, while injuries or a loss of form can quickly see others fall away.

Managerial changes can also reshape the picture, with a new appointment sometimes providing a bounce for a club to emerge as a genuine European contender.

Fixture congestion can become another key factor, particularly for teams balancing domestic commitments with European competition.

Team vs Team Outrights

Team to Finish Above Another Explained

A Team to Finish Above bet is a wager on which of two clubs will finish higher in the table. Nothing else matters. It’s a popular angle because it removes the pressure of predicting an exact finishing position or outright winner - you’re only judging one club’s season relative to another.

It’s a useful market if you have a strong opinion on which of two teams will have the better season. By comparing two clubs directly, it removes the need to predict exact final standings and instead focuses on which team is likely to outperform the other over the course of the campaign.

Golden Boot Tips

A Golden Boot bet is simply predicting which player will score the most goals in a competition. Golden Boot odds are typically influenced by current and historical goalscoring form, penalty-taking duties and whether a player represents a team expected to challenge near the top of the table.

Injury risk plays a bigger part in this market than in most other outright bets, as a lengthy layoff can effectively end a contender’s chances regardless of their form beforehand.

The January transfer window presents another potential pitfall, as a player enjoying a strong first half of the season can attract interest elsewhere and move to another division.

This market often shifts throughout the season as scoring runs fade and the usual suspects pull clear.

Andy Robson’s Outright Specials

Andy Robson’s coverage spans a range of betting markets, with outright selections a key focus of his analysis.

His outright coverage looks beyond traditional winner bets, focusing on specialist markets such as team-vs-team, top-half finishes and Golden Boot selections. These bets are all built around detailed player and squad research, with a focus on identifying potential value and opportunities where the market may have underestimated a team or player’s prospects.

Andy also regularly secures boosted prices on his outright selections through bookmaker partnerships, adding extra value to picks he already rates strongly.

Exclusive Odds & High-Odds Outrights

Exclusive Requested Odds Explained

Exclusive requested odds are enhanced or bespoke prices arranged directly with a bookmaker partner, offering a better return than the standard market price on a specific outright selection.

Unlike ordinary market odds, which move based on general betting activity, these prices are fixed in advance for a limited period and linked to a specific selection requested by our tipsters.

This can be particularly valuable in outright markets, where small differences in price over a long season can have a meaningful impact on potential returns.

High-Odds Outright Bets

Long-shot outright bets are simply backing an unlikely outcome in the hope of securing a much larger return. Whether it’s an unlikely title challenger or a relegation-threatened side pulling off a great escape, the potential upside is obvious, but the risk involved shouldn’t be underestimated.

The key is identifying whether the price accurately reflects a team’s chances, rather than simply backing an outcome because the potential return looks appealing.

Each-way betting is worth considering in these markets, as it can return a portion of your stake even if the selection falls short of winning outright, provided the terms on offer cover a wide enough range of places.

All exclusive odds are subject to bookmaker T&Cs. 18+. Please gamble responsibly.

How We Build Our Outright Tips

Our Tipster Panel

Outright markets demand a different kind of research than match-day tipping, requiring season-long form projections rather than short-term matchup analysis.

Our process reflects that. Selections are only published when a tipster can support their reasoning with squad analysis, historical trends and a clear case that the available odds represent genuine value over the course of the season.

Our Panel:

Ramis Ibrahim is a football writer and Premier League specialist with several years’ experience analysing player performance, statistics and betting markets across English, European and international football.

DB Spots Trends combines a love for football analytics and tactical breakdowns with a focus on identifying opportunities within several markets.

Grant Heaney is a football betting analyst with a sharp focus on the Scottish game. Combining deep SPFL knowledge with a strong grasp of Europe’s top leagues, he delivers insightful analysis and betting angles across competitions in the UK and beyond.

Our Approach to Track Record

We continuously review our tipsters’ picks as part of our commitment to transparency. A headline number only tells part of the story, so we focus on showing the reasoning behind each selection and giving readers the full picture behind every pick.

How We Use Data

Our tips draw on a mix of statistical tools and outright detail rather than gut feel alone. That includes our Bet Builder Stats, Accumulator Stats, Bet Pack, Competition Centres and our Match Centres, which together give our panel a fuller picture of form, head-to-head trends and market movement before any selection appears on site.

Where to Bet on Outrights

Some bookmakers stand out in outright markets by offering a wider range of selections, more competitive prices and greater opportunities to secure enhanced odds.

Leading examples include bet365, Paddy Power and Sky Bet, which all offer strong coverage across a range of outright markets. Our Best Betting Sites breaks down the bookmakers offering the strongest outright markets and latest sign-up offers.
