What Is a Horse Racing Accumulator?
A horse racing accumulator combines four or more selections across different races - all selections must win for the bet to pay out.
Accumulator bets can be incredibly high odds, especially if you increase the number of legs and back outsiders.
Accumulators are one of the most popular bet types in racing because a small stake can give a significant return when everything lands.
Today's Horse Racing Accumulator
Our horse racing accumulator is published daily, using our Racing Ratings tool to identify the strongest picks available.
Rather than producing one fixed accumulator and presenting it as the only option, our approach is to publish individual tips that can be used as singles, combined into your own accumulator, or staked according to your preference.
Daily accumulators will sit on our tips page with the full list of selections, odds, and reasoning for each pick.
How We Build Our Accumulator Tips
Our Tipster Panel
Dave Revers is our dedicated racing tipster whose analysis underpins all of the racing content on the site. Dave has 12 years of experience betting on the horses, and he specialises in picking value selections.
How We Use Data
Accumulator selections are supported by two tools that sit at the core of our racing analysis.
Racing Ratings assigns performance ratings to horses across all major meetings, while Racing Hit Rates tells you exactly how many times a horse has finished in the top three, two, or won.
Both of these tools are available to use on our site alongside the daily tips.
Build Your Own Racing Accumulator
Every individual selection published in our tips feed can be taken as a single, used as part of a pre-built accumulator, or combined into your own multi-selection bet in whatever configuration suits you.
Reasoning is provided for each selection to allow you to assess yourself and decide whether an angle looks good or not. If you want to combine three of the day's selections into a treble rather than taking the full accumulator, you can do so.
You can also combine selections into each-way bets or structured multiples rather than a straight accumulator. For more on those options, see our Each-Way Tips and our Lucky 15 Tips.
Related Multiples: Doubles, Trebles and Beyond
A double combines two selections, and a treble combines three.
Both are small multiples where all legs must win for the bet to pay out, just like an accumulator. An accumulator specifically refers to four or more selections combined in the same way.
There are some more complex multiples which are offered by most bookmakers, such as a Lucky 15 which covers four selections across 15 bets. It takes four singles, six doubles, four trebles and a four-fold accumulator. A Lucky 31 works in the same way, but it takes in five selections.
These types of bets can generate profit even if all of the selections chosen don’t win.
Racing Festivals and Major Events We Cover
Accumulators are most popular at festival racing, and our coverage is built around the key fixtures in the British calendar.
Cheltenham Festival and Royal Ascot are the two biggest weeks of the year for jumps and flat racing, respectively. The Grand National, Epsom Derby and Oaks, Glorious Goodwood and the York Ebor and Dante meetings are all also covered in full.
Festival conditions create more opportunities for building accumulators, with an increased volume of races and competition, and that volume is reflected in our coverage across those weeks.

Horse Racing Accumulator FAQs
How do accumulator odds work?
Each selection in a racing accumulator has its own odds, and those odds multiply together to produce the combined return. A four-leg accumulator at 2.0, 2.0, 2.0 and 2.0 would give odds of 16.0.
Are accumulator tips free?
Accumulator tips published on this site are free to read and are not tied to any bookmaker promotional offer. If you are looking for a free bet to use on a racing accumulator, our Offers Hub covers the latest promotions available across major bookmakers.
How often are accumulator tips updated?
Accumulator tips are published daily in line with the racing schedule. Coverage is heavier during major festivals when there are more races and more opportunities available. On lighter days in the racing calendar, content is focused on the strongest fixtures available rather than covering every meeting.
