🏆 Georgia v Czech Republic
📅
Kick Off: Saturday 22nd June at 14:00
🎯 Georges Mikautadze to have 1+ shots on target
📈
Odds: 1.73
Mikautadze is one of Georgia’s key players, often playing as part of a front two with Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. He scored in Georgia’s opening game against Turkey and attempted 4 shots in total in the match.
Georgia showed in that game that they can cause teams real problems with their attacking players, they managed 14 shots and 5 shots on target during their opener. Mikautadze averaged 1.44 shots on target per 90 and scored 13 goals in his 20 appearances for Metz last term.
🎯 Patrik Schick to have 1+ shots on target
📈
Odds: 1.40
Schick did not feature for Czech Republic during qualifying but is an important part of their attack, he finished as the joint-top scorer in Euro 2020 with 5 goals and averaged 1.10 shots on target per 90 across his 20 appearances in the Bundesliga last season.
He didn’t receive much service in his nation’s opening game against Portugal as his side only managed 5 attempts, but they should get more joy here against a Georgian side that conceded an average of 15.10 shots and 5.03 shots on target per 90 during qualifying.
🏆 Turkey v Portugal
📅
Kick Off: Saturday 22nd June at 17:00
🎯 Arda Guler to have 1+ shots on target
📈
Odds: 2.00
Guler was named MOTM for Turkey in their opener against Georgia, he scored and created 3 chances.
The Real Madrid talent missed most of the season with injury but finished very strongly managing 6 goals across his 10 appearances for Real Madrid during the 23/24 season, also averaging 1.45 shots on target per 90 in this period.
In Turkey’s final warm-up game against Poland, he was introduced at half time and produced another MOTM performance with 2 shots on target and 4 chances created.
🎯 Bruno Fernandes to have 1+ shots on target
📈
Odds: 1.67
Fernandes had 2 shots in Portugal’s opening game against the Czech Republic, narrowly missing the target with both. His recent stats suggest it won’t be long until he does start finding the net with 6 goals and 1.3 shots on target per 90, making him Portugal’s second top scorer in qualifying only behind Cristiano Ronaldo.
His record for Manchester United last season is also strong with the attacking midfielder registering 1.18 shots on target per 90 across his 35 appearances.
🏆 Belgium v Romania
📅
Kick Off: Saturday 22nd June at 20:00
🎯 Kevin De Bruyne to have 1+ shots on target
📈
Odds: 1.44
De Bruyne had 3 shots in Belgium’s opening game defeat to Slovakia, a defeat that puts them in a precarious position in what looked like a relatively straightforward group. This makes the clash with Romania a must win and De Bruyne has the quality to make the difference.
He averaged 1.25 shots on target per 90 in the Premier League for Manchester City last season and had at least one shot on target in both of Belgium’s warm-up games.
🎯 Leandro Trossard to have 1+ shots on target
📈
Odds: 1.44
Trossard averaged 1.20 shots on target per 90 in the Premier League for Arsenal last season across his 34 appearances, he’s part of a dangerous Belgian attack also featuring Romelu Lukaku, De Bruyne and Jeremy Doku. He had an attempt on target in Belgium’s first group game against Slovakia and fired 3 shots at the Slovakian goal in total.
This is a must-win for Belgium, so expect all their attackers to get plenty of shots off against a Romanian side that will sit deep and allow Belgium to have the ball for large periods of the game.
