FC Dallas v LA Galaxy Best Bet Preview

Fuelled by a passion for sport and a sharp instinct for uncovering patterns in data, beating the bookies became the perfect outlet for my competitive streak. Now I take pleasure in sharing my finds with ABC punters. I enjoy finding niche angles and betting value in a range of markets and leagues, my favourite being in Serie A.
If you haven’t followed MLS closely, it’s been a hell of a season - and this match epitomises the excitement we’ve been treated to on a regular basis.
LA Galaxy, the competition’s most successful outfit and the reigning champions, are last in the division, having endured a disastrous campaign.
Earlier in the season, they were going stride for stride with FC Dallas, but a late turnaround has rendered the hosts a much more competitive side, and I think we should be in for a treat here.

📈 FC Dallas v LA Galaxy Form & Stats
This clash comes at an excellent point in time for FC Dallas, who have hit a really nice run of form, and although I prefer the cards market, backing the hosts to win at 1.75 is another very compelling option.
Dallas are now unbeaten in seven straight games, having picked up three wins alongside four draws over that period, despite facing off with some pretty strong opposition. To put that into context, those 13 points represent over a third of their tally for the entire season, and matches what they’d taken from the 15 games prior.
They’ve been particularly strong at home, where they’ve won four of their most recent six, recording one draw and just a single defeat.
Eric Quill's men know that there’s still plenty to play for; should they win each of their last three, they’d guarantee a spot in the play-offs or better, and with two of those games being against LA Galaxy, this is a very real possibility.
The visitors sit rock-bottom of the Western Conference, mustering just five wins and 24 points over their 31 games to date - a stark contrast to last season when they were crowned MLS Champions for a record-extending 6th time.
They, too, have experienced a late boost, although this is all relative to their dismal start to the season, which saw them take 17 games to record their first victory, with 12 of those prior constituting losses.
Over their most recent 10, Galaxy have, however, managed three victories, to accompany three draws and four losses, which represents a significant upturn in form.
Last time out, they were defeated 3-2 by Toluca in the Campeones Cup, a match contested between the winners of the previous MLS Cup and the winners of the Campeón de Campeones.
They enter this match having had only two days of rest since that loss, which could also hamper them.
